***The OcUK Bikers meet 2006. 12th of August***

Just given the bike shop a phone to find out when my bike will be ready and it won't be until Thurday next week at the earliest :( I managed to get my day off changed and everything.
Sorry lads but that's me out :(

They are dropping like flies now, i think this recent poor weather is scaring them all off :p

No worries guys, there is talk of one in july time if a it would suit a few more members anyway.

It just wouldn't seem the same in the car Luke :( The thought of driving down that far from Edinburgh would really seem like a chore, then to watch all of you guys on 2 wheels nip out for a blast whilst I watch through a windscreen would be a real bummer :(
Driving down on the bike however would just seem like a nice long blast and would give me the chance to put some more miles under her belt :)

What sort of insurance do you have on your bike, are you able to ride other bikes with some form of insurance cover?

I understand what you are saying though about watching from begind a wheel.

A68 down from Edinburgh via Jedburgh , lovely roads :)
 
Early weather forecasts are predicting a change in the weather to what we have had of late, looks like there should be no rain and a bit of brightness, I will keep an eye on it as the week progresses. It would be a real shame if the rain stopped this meet happening.
 
We are so so far behind with our DIY we're gonna have to pull out :(

Gonna have to spend next weekend knuckling down and get some stuff done otherwise we'll never be finished :p
 
I'm dying to know how the meet went :) I ended up going to costco and buying some shopping and to top it off, it wasn't that bad a day for nipping out on the bike it seems (if I had a bike that is) :(

This reminds me of a time when I turned up for a Hogmany party a day too early!!!!!


Can you imagain if my bike was working and I'd turned up after coming all the way from Edinburgh to find that I was a week early!!! Now that would have been really embarrasing :o
