Oh dear, I'm not a musician. A musician is a very big word that I doubt many on here will ever get to. However, if you can read musical notation and translate that to your fingers then you are miles ahead of me. What I've got in abundance is 35 years of experience and that is all.
Theres one local musician who really dislikes me and he summed me up in one sentence - "The trouble with Dave Poole is that he knows how to pick all the best musicians and he surrounds himself with them to make him sound so much better".
Too bloody right - I won't allow anybody to make me sound crap.

Get your entry in and lets see if you're worthy of sharing a stage with me

I just downloaded one and got the 5 secs of nothing then I switched to (God forbid) Internet Explorer and they all downloaded OK. Went back to Firefox and it was OK. Seems hit and miss - if you fail the first time try again.

Oh yeah, dmpoole, in the OP, you stated that you wanted 2 sound files from each 'entrant', does that still stand? If it does, I suppose I'll need to record another one.

I'll leave it another couple of weeks, bump it a few times and see if we get any more.

GordyR's was superb in my opinion. Very much so enjoyed PaulN's too. Thats not to say I disliked anyone elses

And for Neon - what do you call a bloke who hangs around with musicians? - a drummer.

Incidentally, PaulN can no longer play the guitar :eek:

He had a car accident that hurt his neck which in turn has effected his hands.
