I think there is being suprised (Heck, I was!) and there is constantly posting, often with nonsensical riddles. The two are quite different. I think its possible to be suprised without coming across like he is

Let's be honest now, Easy is like it just the same in hardware a lot of the time.

Only real difference is that Fox knows his stuff in Motors but not so much in Hardware. Easy just claims to know his stuff in Motors & Hardware.

I'm not in the least bit surprised by the choice of Fox. He takes a stupid amount of stick and just gets on with things. He's accurate with almost as many of his posts as I am with mine, and far more polite with it on the most part. He just doesn't pull any punches, and I like that.

Not the same as Semi pro,Gilly,Jokester,rpstewart etc..

MOH should be respected. They should be steadfast yet open.

I for one have had a few discussions with Gilly and he has gracefully moved on

seeing beauty in my reasoning.

Fox can be to emotional, self aware and up his own hoop

He just doesn't pull any punches, and I like that.

Which at times comes across as being quite rude and untactful, but then it's that kind of arrogant, 'ladish' type attitude on here that seems to gain you respect by the moderators, I'm not saying that other less 'loud' personalties aren't recognised for their contributions, they are, but it just seems that certain controversial members seem to be put on a peddle-stool by the admins/mods from time to time, but often these members have character traits that have ironically lead them to be perma-banned in the past, I think this is because it's gives people the wrong impression of what is deemed as being an 'Honourable' member.

What does being respected by the masses have to do with this thread? My popularity has waxed and waned throughout my time here. Being vilified and deified (whether I wanted it or no) in equal measure in the main. Does that then mean that my MoH isn't deserved? Some would say yes.

Fox has been around a long, long time and as I said doesn't pull any punches. Is this a crime? No. He isn't chasing popularity and simply sticks to his guns. That is to be applauded not maligned.
