I've read somewhere someone had repartitioned it to 2gb, but it took a lot of work, and his tablet was a paperweight for most of it. Not sure what to do with mine at the moment, nothing has room to install after an update. :/
With a little faffing it can be fixed quite easily by Rooting, Installing Clockwork (not required but useful) then partitioning an External SD Card and using Link2SD...this will allow you to link the measly Internal storage to a partition on the Ext SD card (I created a 2Gb one) Then you can move many of the internal storage apps to the new partition freeing up some space...
I've now got 215mb free space on the internal storage for any pre-installed apps and any new apps are installed on the Ext SD Card 2gb partition. Once done the process is automatic. Newly installed apps are installed automatically to the 2Gb partition on the SD card.
sorry to be a apin, but what did you root it with and what new rom are you using? can't find any guides. would like to root the 7" too which seems to work faster and more responsive than my 10"
I still use mine occasionally, only really for a bit of basic web browsing as it seems to struggle otherwise. Mine is just factory reset (but rooted) then various updates but nothing new OS wise. I was a bit disappointed with OCUK on this one as they said it would be supported and there's been no update to my knowledge. Perhaps it's just because the manufacturers didn't provide anything for it either.
