That Hameldaeme - what colour is the whisky itself? Is it a blacked-out bottle concealing a much lighter whisky, or an incredibly dark dram?A few new ones to try:
Big Peat Red Wine Cask
Big Peat Hameldaeme Edition
Ardnahoe Infinite Loch
The two Big Peats were nice enough, usual impact at the start then found the new flavours from the red wine and white port casks. Not enough though to warrant a purchase over the excellent Sherry cask or Xmas editions for less money though. Just tried a wee bit of each before the Ardnahoe, obviously smoother, but actually really enjoyed it more than I expected. Bit smokey of course, enjoyable. I think I prefer it over the initial bottling (cant remember the name).

Interesting. I've tried a port cask Bunnahabhain before, can't recall the exact details of it, but it was rather eggy, like a cheap French red. I was not a fan!Yeah, its a lighter one. The red wine cask looks like rose almost as expected with those casks, the pic doesnt show it as it is, in the glass its more rose wine
I think it was £47 when I bought it, I'm sure it was from Master of Malt
Edit : checked and it was £53
Let me know what you think
I haven't used that scheme, but I find different deals on the different whisky sites more than justify the occasional shipping cost if you can't think of enough bottles to get to the free shipping limit.Anyone use the Master of Malt prime delivery subscription?
One of the perks is members discounts, wondering if it covers most drinks or just a selection. Tempted to sign up as I buy a fair bit from them and paying £5 for delivery each time adds up, unless you spend over £99 for free delivery.

Could always message them about the deal? It would be disappointing if the discounts only applied to whatever they choose, so please do share what you find.
