nope but they do help by keeping the heat in the case though(think loft insulation)
Can't see it having much effect as the amount of heat dissipated by the metal of the case is tiny compared to airflow through case fans isn't it?

I think one of the major advantages of brushed Aluminum case is that it's almost like a giant heatsink and those pads will just make the components warmer.
They do look real professional like, though..

haha yeah, it looks very much like shower hosing, the effect i wanted. Its actualy split loom tubing! For cable tidying, hoever its painted with a chrome effect. Still gotta get some chrome clamps for the cables yet.
Yeah i thought about the window...i am going to get the top windows first then maybe later add the side window.
fothsn what would be your thoughts on water cooling one of those
