US: The Office (US)

Been binging this on Amazon. So good, practically crying here at the end.

I love how they've been wrapping things up gradually over pretty much half of the last season so it doesn't feel like anything has been rushed.

A nice ending and everything wrapped up nicely. Where was Robert California though :D

James Spader was so good in this. Definitely one of my all time fav actors :D

Re-working my way through as its on Prime Video at the moment. Saw when it first came out so been a while since i have seen any of the episodes.

Reminds me of how great a series this was! Just watched Series 5, Episode 14. This has to be one of my favourites, properly laugh out loud funny. Its the one were Dwight makes a fake fire to run through a fire drill with the team, which goes very wrong! Then has the scene where they are learning about CPR and gets completely taken over, and again Dwight ending up at co-operate after he stabbed it "Harvesting Organs" and then cuts the face off wearing like hannibal lector.

Comedy Central use those 2 episodes in the trailers.

So it appears that halfway through season 4 Comedy Central have stopped showing this. It's really annoying!

Edit: Free month of Amazon Prime to the rescue!

Even though it ended it's 9 year run over a decade ago, it's easily my favourite TV show of all time, and I can't see that changing, ever :p

Watched it at US pace from season 2 till the end. Since it ended i'm certain i've watched it at least 15 times from start to finish. First on Amazon prime, then on Netflix and now "locally". Just finished a rewatch a couple of weeks ago, in fact.

Episode list:

The Office Lego set and a few random Funkos....

I watched it over and over on repeat during the pandemic, mostly on a second monitor as background noise during work. The superfan episodes that Peacock slowly started releasing a few years ago (basically the original episodes with deleted scenes re-cut in) are a nice change if you've seen the original multiple times. They do sometimes mess with the pacing and such, but it can be overlooked given you're probably a die-hard fan in the first place to seek out and re-watch these "superfan" episodes.

One of my favourite shows also.
The 'Office Ladies' podcast by Jenna and Angela is good too if anyone wants a rather detailed recalling of every episode by 2 in cast insiders. I'm halfway through S4 on that which prompted another show re-watch haha.

I've been listening to it from the start. Fell behind recently and am on the Season 8 podcasts. They are 3-4 weeks away from doing the finale, so I need to catch up, as I want to listen to the final episode as "live" as possible!

I tried to get into it, but every single word they say is so slow and deliberate, it makes the whole podcast sound weird and scripted. Even when they laugh it sounded scripted.
