Yes, I wanted to learn Swift and do it properly . So far, I've not got far. It seems a very odd language to me.
I write android apps so I'm goodI'm sure I can get more power for my money on a Windows laptop. My problem with Windows is you can't write iOS apps on it...
lolI use to do half and half but now gone full windows as there laptops are nicer and cheaper
Then you have your eyes covered in rose tinted glasses then because there is a ton of windows laptops that have better build quality.lol
Cheaper, yes, but I've not seen any laptop that rivals the MacBook Pro in terms of build quality.

Lenovo x1e and dell xps 13/15 to name a few
That's just his rhetoric. He appears convinced that the Windows offerings are far better than current MacBook Pro's and keeps coming into this thread to state so. It's borderline trolling if you ask me.Don’t they simply match the MacBook Pro build quality rather than exceed it in any way?
The Dell XPS build quality is pretty poor compared to MacBook's from my experience.
They exceed in stuff like screen build and keyboard .
Speakers are not great I give you that but the rest is on par if not better.
Also have much much better port selection which no apple fan can disagree on.
I've used both extensively by the way doing coding and media editing Not just your casual owner but I really stress and use these machines and this is based on my experience
Yea mac os is nice and one of the only things imo that's keeping macbook in business else I believe that many would just get a lenovo or even a surface book running mac os on itIt’s just a shame they don’t run MacOS as the software is the biggest draw to Apple products for me.
The Surface Book is much, much slower than a MacBook Pro!Yea mac os is nice and one of the only things imo that's keeping macbook in business else I believe that many would just get a lenovo or even a surface book running mac os on it
A bit of an open question, but what do people love about MacOS? (Worried I'm missing out on it's benefits)
Interesting, so a lot is based on the 'eco system'? I get the smooth swiping and such, it is very fluid.
You can do just about all those on Windows . Have never included my discussion on the os side of thingsI love the way you can control it so smoothly with swipes and taps on the trackpad. It’s also not full of ‘free’ apps and games by default that you don’t want. I like that I can text from macOS and pick up browser tabs from my phone and tablet. I also like that my Mac unlocks automatically because I’m wearing an authenticated Apple Watch.
