I've got an 8GB M1 Air - honestly, it's plenty. I have the same use case as you, plus a little MainStage for running my guitar/bass through.Really confused about which MB to get now.
Don't want to spend £1500+ on a new 15" MBA no matter how tempting they are.
So it'll be a used M1 MBA, MBP, or M2 MBA or MBP. Budget is prob up to around 700. Depends on whether 16GB is worth it or not too.
Use case is just web browsing, office type work, no need for crazy photo or video editing stuff.
Decisions, decisions...
Amazon already selling the base model at a under £1300.Potentially wait for back to school offers. Seems overpriced though, M3 will probably be even more.
There is no 15" MBP?15'' MBP 512/16 for £1799 or a refurb 14'' M2 Pro for £1829... seems too close?
Sorry, typo. I meant this, the 15'' MB Air.There is no 15" MBP?

Same. I love my 8GB/256GB M1 Air. Does everything that I want without any problems. It'll be a good few years before I upgrade it.I've got an 8GB M1 Air - honestly, it's plenty. I have the same use case as you, plus a little MainStage for running my guitar/bass through.
You can use your iPhone as a webcam if you want.I had the 15” air delivered this morning, can’t believe how bad the front camera is, even in a well lit room, the camera quality is shocking.
Tempted to return it just for this issue
I’m in the market for a MacBook Air. I think the 15 will be too big as want it mainly for portability. The 13inch one came out last year , do you think a new version of the 13 will come out later this year or not (just wondering whether to wait a few months or not)
