***The Official 8HR Stability 5820k/5930k/5960X Overclocking Thread***

is that using the XMP memory profile as well?

Tried doing (with xmp)
CPU strap 125
BCLK 125
Multi 36
Volts 1.325
no boot - think its the memory to be honest

to get 4.3 I just use (XMP)
Multi 43
volts 1.325
most I have ever got is 4.4 but as soon as I run handbrake to encode vids it Blue screens with the whea incorrectable error

5820K here on 4.4GHz and approx 1.279v (can't remember off the top of my head). Might be 1.2879? I'll check if anyone asks :)

Also running Crucial (2133MHz) ram at 2400MHz on 12-12-12-24 1T and 1.3v.

Been stable for weeks. Tried 4.5GHz but stability is an issue, haven't pushed past 1.3v so can't say if I could get it.

Running on a H100i AIO, using a corsair 500r case.

Gave up cant get 4.5 stable, can run stress tests for an hour or so but if I do any Video encoding with handbrake it bums out with CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error

Running at 4.4 @1.325v and will do anything no issue

So you aren't stressing cache at the same time?

Bit futile. AIDA isn't very good at picking up memory instability either. You want HCI for that.

This Better. :D
Got a little warmer this time round although the ambient in here was silly last night, 26 degree's or so.

Seems so ... They all chickened out !

Someone's just a money shot of 4.7 ghz in the Haswell e thread ... But I doubt he'll post in here... Anyone can pump the volts up and run cinema bench

Not for me anything under 1.3v it crashes highest clock I can get under 1.3v is 4.3ghz

I can run aida64 at 4.5ghz for a few hours .. Not tried 8 hrs but when I do encoding it crashes straight away imo that's a real world test .. If it don't do the job I ask then it's not worth the oc

This is work in progress mate...People in here have faith in their clocks and will back it up...

Where's yours?:)

I don't run AIDA for 8 hours with just memory and CPU as it's pointless. You want to run cache for 8 hours as that is where AIDA's strong suit is.

There should be a HCI memtest thread, this is where a lot of peoples overclocks will come unstuck :).

Also just to note if you aren't keeping track of what version people are running it makes it worse, as the recent builds have new routines. If you want to just-run CPU and memory, Real bench 8 hours is a better test.
