That's quite surprising, I've had decent success with luggage.

It actually caused my son and I much amusement, as it was my wifes case showing as still in the terminal. It caused her more stress than usual waiting for her case. Especially as our cases were about the last to come on the belt when we got to the dominican.

Maybe because she buried them in the case instead of an outside pocket but I didn't think it would make much difference.

I have one on my car keys and I seem to be changing the battery every couple of months? Surely they should lasting longer than this?

Yup, should get a year out of them at least! Obviously this depends on use if you are using the sound all the time the battery will drain quicker!

I don’t even use the app and never used the sound. I was using Duracell batteries too, guess I’ll try a different brand.

For what it's worth, I am still on the original battery of an air tag I bought in September last year.
