Had something strange going on with my stereo pair of HomePods over the last few days. I noticed that music was only coming out of the left speaker.

When I checked the pair and tapped L or R, they both pinged correctly. I unpaired them and one of them showed as unresponsive in HomeKit. Ended up having to remove it from HomeKit, manually reset it and then add it back in. It's all good now.

I get that, although I can’t help but feel an upgraded one at the moment wouldn’t be enough of an upgrade to warrant most to make that leap at the moment - what realistically do they do with it to warrant an upgrade from the average user?
Absolutely nothing. The only time I'll be replacing/upgrading any of mine will be if they break.

Screen looks ugly and out of place, just use your phone/ipad.
I completely agree, in my own situation, there aren't any located in a place where a screen would be desirable or useful.
