*** The Official Battlefield 2042 thread***

They've removed 128 player? Surely we have a good case for getting our money back? It was chaotic but always seemed to me it was just bad level design and lack of objective-focused rewards letting it down. There were glimpses of a great BF in the high player count war experience.
 
Played quite a bit over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Game feels more balanced after Thursday's patch. Still not as intense or as much fun as BF4 though. Lack of a server browser is the biggest issue for me now because I found I was playing the same 2 maps over and over again on the matchmaking gamemodes. Portal is largely dead

No point if there's less than 128 players actively playing the game :p
 
hi guys is this worth to test cpu 12900K on this game or skip it? BF V working good. Just asking if is any sense to pay for 2042 or its garbage?

Lmao, no more development of the big super secret mode they had hyped for a while before launch. Could this abomination fail any harder? 128 players in certain modes also dead which was also a big hyped feature.

I wonder if the 2 people working on the game even care anymore as the community stopped caring a long time ago now.
 

Multiple improvements to soldier gameplay which will result in overall smoother animations and movement.
Weapons received updated netcode to improve bullet hit registration. We’ve also done a further balance pass which includes increased projectile speeds for DMR’s and LMG’s, and improved accuracy for Shotguns.
Multiple new XP events have been added, such as for killing an enemy who recently wounded or killed a squadmate, or when an enemy vehicle you recently damaged is destroyed by a teammate and the occupants are killed
The number of available in-world vehicles has been increased for Conquest which should make it easier to move across the map
Sundance’s Wingsuit has been adjusted to lower overall flight time, while making it easier to maneuver. To simplify their Specialty, the EMP Field Smart Explosive has been removed
