Nope, your processor is fine, I'm on a 2600k and a GTX 1070 and mine is silky smooth. Your graphics card may be struggling a bit, though if BF1 was OK then V shouldn't be too much worse FPS wise.
Have you run up the in game performance graph via the console to see what spikes?
If you don't know how to do this, hit the button on the left of '1' and type "perfoverlay.drawfps 1" without quotes and keep an eye on the lines that spike during combat.
Have you run DDU (display driver uninstaller) and installed the latest drivers?

Splash damage is a joke. Also there was a time when battlefield had destruction. A lot of buildings now are indestructible. They laugh off a shell like it is nothing.
Splash damage on tank shells really needs turned up, you can drop a shell at someones feet and have it do minimal to no damage. Most of the time its only really achieved by infantry being close to a wall and you hitting the wall behind them with a shell, and even then most times its a small amount.
I've never had so much fun raging poor mechanics, netcode issues, being stuck on a pebble and being killed with a pistol with what feels like a single shot while you've managed to pump 6 shots including a headshot into them with an STG44.

Bought this last night, put settings on ultra and i am getting 60 fps solid. I7 3770k and a 1070ti. I am very happy with that as “can you run it” said my cpu won’t handle it!

It’s a fun game when it’s behaving itself and you are in a squad with mates. Outside of that it’s just awful.
The assignments have most your team doing anything except taking the flags! They often kill the round and make it farcical.

Can I just double check. If I purchase Origin Premier Access do I get access to the full game for as long as I am a Premier Access member? Or do I just get a trial.

TBH the way these weekly assignments are set up really razzes me off. I don’t get the chance to play as much as I’d like what with having young kids so I rarely get to play enough to unlock the guns. Presumably I’m the sort of sucker who’ll just end up stumping up for them with bought company coin, at least in EAs eyes. The reality is I’ll probably just play less/not get the next BF. The unlock system in 3/4 was much better, not to mention battlelog owning the current maze of menu screens

Have not enjoyed a BF game online since Bad Company 2. I had BF3 and Bf4 and they both sucked. Bad Company 2 i go for my BF fix even today, infact im going to play some atacama desert later on i think.
