Came by Royal Mail van. Postie turned up without it and i was worried but then the van came about 20mins later.

That's a bit of a relief then, our van tends to come round a bit later, so there is hope.
They might even have MotoGP too if i am really lucky lol

2k is aware of the broken statues (at least in the US they are) and they are offering a replacement for US residents who've received a broken statue, free of charge (incl shipping apparently). Whilst they are waiting for the replacement to be made and shipped, they will send you a free printed out edition of the artbook which can download for free from the bioshock website.

Let's hope that they will do the same for the rest of the world eh?

I'm anxiously awaiting my CE today!

Ermm perhaps with that site it is but the copy i have now in front of me isnt region free. Mind you im in Canada at the moment so having a region free disc serves no purpose to me as back in the UK ive already ordered a copy of Bioshock...dunno if its arrived though yet.
 
Well a certain online store just confirmed to me that they are wating for word from 2K about big daddy replacements. They took my number and said they would get back to me but didnt have a timeframe :(

Starting to think my copy along with Elite and Blue Dragon isn't coming until tomorrow despite being dispatched at 6 yesterday. No sign of it on Parcelforce tracking site. Because it's a 'console' launch do you think they do a deal to have them delivered the morning of launch day only... pita.

Still, some say the anticipation is the best bit.

Well the US version is region free, they don't state it on the games themselves iirc. I was just trying to save you £15 :)

Its not as good as you first play it, im not that far into it as i only got it yesterday but the awesomeness of the demo with all the playable cinematics doesn't last long unfortunately.

On a side note, save the little girls. Trust me.

Also look around for everything!

I do that anyway, it's obvious in games like this that the rewards for being good will outweigh the benefits of being bad :(

yeah, KOTOR's the only game series i can think of that rewards bad more than good.
 
Don't you get more Adam when you harvest them? So the rewards are greater if you're bad. I think you get some Adam when you save them, but not as much.

Hmmm i can see where your coming from, should have really cancelled the pre-order that i had...seeing as im here in Canada at the moment and picked up a copy. Havent had a chance to play it yet as been too busy...but £5 for the limited edition is pretty good compared to the £40 that it costs me in the uk.

Probably get my youngest bro to pop it in the mail, if its arrived and send it back for a refund...dont think my bro here is really that interested in Bioshock..will find out later if hes gonna keep this copy or let me have it.

You get bonus rewards periodically for saving them, rather hefty rewards at that.
