Yeah I suppose I could do that, just kinda bugs me because the shop I bought it from is now showing no stock. I wanted it for this weekend, might see what their mail says in return and decide from there.

Yeah me too, was dispatched 2 days ago, but it's 2-3 day delivery...

I hope it's Royal Mail and it arrives tomorrow. Otherwise I gotta wait until Tuesday :eek:

I think if they cant send me another one out for a while I will cancel and wait for the cheap second hand ones to hit the MM next week or just order from asia.
 
Oh well cant fault their service, they phoned me up and have sent one out for me for tommorow morning. They will fully refund my postage return.

Heres hoping tommorows one works :D
 
well im a bit ****** with it at the moment, not sure if its a bug or just cheesy design, but ive come to the area with the 2nd big daddy after killing the Dr. I couldnt kill it on one life so respawned and killed it only for the little sister to dissapear! a minute or so later a fresh big daddy appeard with girl in tow, i killed that one using up most of my ammo and another life, hey presto same thing, little sister nowhere to be seen. Now a 3rd big daddy has popped up with me out of ammo/med kits/eve jabs. No way in hell i can kill it so have to revert to a save game and see if i can get the first one down witout dieing. But up to that its a fun game :) not the second coming of jesus as most reviews have spunked over but pretty good fun none the less.

Only downer is the textures on the splicers still look **** compared to the PC version. I was hoping that would have been sorted for the live release.
 
I can't read through what issues your having atm because I have'nt started the game yet but if it's anything to do with it stuttering etc a guy over at 2k forums said he solved the problem by taking his harddrive off and playing the game through using a memory card instead and it was then perfectly smooth, strange I know.
 
I love the themes of greed, hysteria and self indulgence in this game. As mentioned by jihad, the doctors tapes are great, as are the mad composer. Infact all the audio tapes are really well done.
 
Went to pick it up at a rental store, £34.99 for the tin version but no faceplates. :(

Gave up the idea of waiting till mid September for the import :p

I played the demo but couldn't get to grips with it. Found it a bit pants...

Big Daddies respawn, if they dont have a girl with them follow them to the holes in the walls, they hit the wall and a girl comes out. If a girl doesnt come out you may have already rescued/Harvested the little sisters.

If you pause you can see how many you have saved or harvested down the bottom of the screen.

ah cool, didnt know about the hole thing :) I reloaded and managed to kill one in one go though but will bear that in mind.
