Irrespective of what you think of Haye - and I'm no fan of his, he can still bang. That makes him dangerous at world level because it only takes one shot. I don't think he deserves another world shot either but the way the heavyweight division is atm I really wouldn't be surprised if he wins a world title again in the near future.

Meanwhile, respect to Dillian Whyte for making it a great fight. I'd love to see a rematch between him and AJ, they will have both learnt a hell of a lot from this fight and a rematch would be very intriguing, each one knowing they have the power to hurt the other. Whyte after the fight...

I think the result would be similar if they fought again.

AJ was looking for the early KO from the first bell and it was the worst two rounds we've seen from him so far. Missed too many shots, let his guard down and probably expected to put Whyte away with one or two big shots which expended way too much energy. Once he got tagged by Whyte and had recovered he started picking his shots rather than trying to force the KO and it was once way traffic.

As for Whyte, he's got one hell of a punch and a granite chin but the big overhand right and left hook to the body is all he really showed last night. That may have been enough to put away lesser opponents but not Joshua. He also looked massively overweight so it's no wonder so many people are calling him the Burger Snatcher post fight.

If it does happen again I'm convinced Joshua would box smarter from the get go and wear down Whyte instead of trying to take his head off early but it's not a fight I would expect either promoter to want again any time soon.

What a fight between these two, more exciting than Klitchko/Fury and Pac/MW! As soon as it started it was like all game plans fell out the window until Joshua received a 2nd round wake up call.

Whyte was let down by his cardio, you could see he had no more and after that shot to the temple he was out and gassed. He should work on cardio and moving a bit more. He didn't look like he had grown much as a fighter like Joshua has but clearly isn't afraid of him.

Anyone thinking Joshua should fight Fury/Haye/Wilder next year is crazy, he clearly isn't ready!

If Whyte can make them improvements a rematch would be well worth watching, otherwise it's just a repeat but a finish will likely happen much earlier on as Joshua develops.

Extremely hypothetical question if it's even possible to guess an answer to, how would Joshua do against Mayweather if they were both the same weight division? By the way, I didn't realise Mayweather retired recently. I wonder if he's likely to come out of retirement for any future fights.

Both the same weight Mayweather every single time. People may not realise yet but Mayweather was an exceptional boxer. They say boxing is an art and he had it down to a tee. For someone heavier who has similar skills look for Andre Ward.

He wasn't brillant to watch for your Joe Bloggs fan who loves a brawl but I love the technicalities of boxing and he was a joy to watch.

I watched the Joshua/Whyte fight - not bad actually. One of the better HW fights I have seen recently.

Joshua is a strong fighter, but he needs to get some movement for goodness sake. Someone better could have used his head for target practice all night long.

I really enjoyed the Eubank fight. Good Lord he is fast. Super quick hands. I hope for big things from him.
