Not new. This video pops up on my feed every now and then but I always love it. Best sport advert, in my opinion.

Still get goosebumps from watching it. Encapsulates everything (good) we love about this sport

I can't profess to have seen much of Crawford but is this really the best we can do. I thought he was a welterweight and Canelo has mostly fought at super middle so 21lb difference. I can see fighters moving up one weight class but not two. Just another huge pay day for two fighters at the end of their careers. Not impressed. Canelo should be fighting Benavidez.

Just my opinion but Canelo is not a natural super middleweight, he is 5 ft 7 1/2 with a 179cm reach. He is just so good that he gets away with choosing to be in that weight class.
Even if Benavidez did beat Canelo, i would only think well he should win. He is much taller and has a big reach advantage and is 6 years younger.

Crawford is actually slightly taller and has a reach advantage of 9cm over Canelo so he may actually be able to give Canelo a real challenge.
He has insane timing and ring IQ in my view.

Strange guy but one you cannot help but warm to. He's fought pretty much everyone who amounted to anything in the division other than Wilder and AJ, albeit he's lost to most of the bigger names. Hopefully he doesn't get sparked out.
 
Read that he's mandatory now for the IBF title shot.

Might be wrong though.

Yeh it's an odd one. Couldn't stand him during the David Haye nonsense.

But he really does put every last ounce of himself into the ring, it's hard to dislike the guy thesedays.

Yes but looks like money is more important than boxing fan's.

Yeah apparently that was an IBF mandatory eliminator?! Wallin a guy who has never beaten anyone worth a damn and Del Boy who in his prime was pure gatekeeper and now is just on a retirement last hurrah how were those 2 world title contenders?!
 
7 rounds of the usual Catterall fare. Side on, edging back with the odd lunging (fast) 1-2. He's horrible to watch and will never be a draw at world level. No-one would pay to watch him fight.
 
Suspect Catterall will get this on points as he has home advantage but yet another horrible performance. The lad Barbosa fought well against the negative Catterall. Certainly not a good audition for a world title fight. FWIW I'd give it to Barbosa by 1 maybe two rounds. (but I'm biased)#

edit: Barbosa got it - split decision - yessssss!!

5 inch reach advantage really paid off for Barbosa, Catterall really struggled with it all fight long
