Bored of it all now. I’m not expecting it to happen and I’m just a bit sick of Fury’s nonsense. Let him fight Charr no one really cares, I only want to see him and Usyk now and I hope he gets beat, he needs humbling.

The problem lies with the boxing organisations. There’s too many and they’re way too lenient with title defences.

World champions in other sports defend their titles without all this money and contract rubbish. It’s part of sport, but too many boxers are more interested in cash than legacy.

Agreed but at the same time can you blame them, being punched in the head for a career

That's why I rate the IBF really highly. They really enforce their mandatory fights and if you don't honour that, they'll strip you really quickly.

I don't mind about boxers trying to maximise their earnings, they're putting their lives on the line for the entertainment. I do like the control the UFC has over its fighters and making the best fights when they need to happen but I hate the way the fighters are both treated and horribly paid then you have Dana White making millions. The issue with boxing is there are too many politics going on. You have the belt organisations, the promotion companies not wanting to risk their fighters against rival promoters and you have the TV network conflicts of not wanting to have a fighter on X fight on Y.

It's all a mess but I have no idea how do you change it?

Cash you are right they should have £500 for a fight and we will be seaing more fights to theam earn more money

£500 to risk getting life long issues?

People can, do, and will continue to, die in the ring. The fighters owe it so themselves to maximise earnings. In the illustrious words of Mayweather... "I'm a prize fighter, dummy"

We all know what i ment money stoping good fights to take place thats all

It's not really mostly the money though, I just think it's politics. Spence vs Crawford is a prime example. For a few years, or at least since they were in the same division, Spence kept saying Crawford would need to "Cross the street". In other words, Leave Top Rank/Bob Arum and join Mr 'I Like to thank' Al Haymon and join PBC. He did that after his last fight on his TR contract and now he is a free agent Spence really has no excuse to not fight him. It's even worse they're night fighting as they're in the same house now.

Same issue with Gervonta Davis really. He is incredible but for some reason Mayweather Promotions wont dare put him in with Haney, Lomachenko, Garcia or Kambosos. They just keep giving him absolute no hoper fights. Now that I think about it, it's mostly a problem with PBC as they're doing the exact same with one of the Charlo brothers. Talks a big game but hasn't fought anyone of note.

And there is very good point but not for us All this Promotions stoping what sould have been done in the past and now and all comes to money after all

It’s about money. Crawford isn’t getting a guaranteed purse he’s getting a percentage of the revenue generated , because of this he is asking for receipts and a say so in expenditure.

Coppinger says that the issue now is that “Crawford wants transparency related to event expenses,” as his contract does not guarantee him a purse.

its not a listed PED but its well known to increase testosterone

Lets put it this way connor didnt take it for fun

Fight should be called off its only on because theres millions of pounds on the line

Brings boxing back to the dark days imo

Not really interested in Benn V Spewbank, if their dads pulled the gloves on again I'd be more into that.....not much though, at least their fathers fought at the same weight.

I really hate the direction boxing is heading in, great fights are no longer made because everyone is too busy protecting their legacy, dont they realise that some of the greats did lose from time to time but the big fights they were in made their legacy, not retiring with a 40-0 record and only fighting "safe fights".

Oh and those YouTubers can go ram it too.

Salty rant over lol.
