I really hope you mean Mike Tyson.Well that really just depends on your definition of average. A prime tyson would KO your 'average' MMA fighter, in any arena.
I guess so.Do you really have to ask?
Assuming it'll still be PPV, I'm not sure what would be worse - paying £27 (on top of your DAZN sub) to watch Joshua not knock him out or do what Wilder done and knock him out in a round?AJ will be fighting Robert Helenius on Saturday. Serious questions should be asked if he doesn’t KO him.
I've heard it's not PPV now. AJ apparently just want's to fight and will take the bath on the cash. Fair play to them for at least finding a semi credible replacment.Assuming it'll still be PPV, I'm not sure what would be worse - paying £27 (on top of your DAZN sub) to watch Joshua not knock him out or do what Wilder done and knock him out in a round?
C class against B classRobert Helenius.
Im not surprised in the slightest, I knew it would be a C class fighter with 4+ losses
If I remember correctly, when he was asked about his last fight not being on PPV, Joshua said that he's getting paid the same regardless of PPV or not. I guess, similar to DAZN's original deal with Canelo, Joshua agreed a set figure for x fights promoted by matchroom on DAZN.I've heard it's not PPV now. That's not what Hearn implied on the 5Live Boxing pod last night. He definitely suggested that the PPV was the juice in fights like this and Joshua will take a hit in his purse. If I remember correctly, when he was asked about his last fight not being on PPV, Joshua said that he's getting paid the same regardless of PPV or not. Yeah but it’s a lose, lose for Joshua. He’ll get paid but he’ll gain little else.At least it's not a PPV event any more. Ultimately they could only really pick from a limited pool of fighters. It was always a stay busy fight with the hop DW could bring the dog out of AJ again.
No point doing a risky last minute match up ala Ruiz Jr. Just put a human heavybag for AJ to punch up and gain some confidence.
I always take what Hearn says with a massive pinch of salt. He done the media round before Joshua's last fight saying Joshua's only in it for the love of the sport and then in Joshua's first interview he was asked what motivated him or words to that effect and he made it clear it was just for the money. I appreciate it's his job but the way Hearn talks on behalf of his fighters is what winds me up most about him because it's often plainly obvious that he's lying. That's not what Hearn implied on the 5Live Boxing pod last night.
