OK so I just watched a documentary on Riddick Bowe, I do wonder if someone mentioned him on here before as someone worthy of watching a show about when I asked last time because I'd heard the name but otherwise was none the wiser.

Bloody hell the guy was a beast, why is his name not more commonly known? Never heard him mentioned when people talk about top heavyweights in history? Is it because the 'only' top/legendary fighter he fought was Holyfield?

He seemed to have it all (bar the mindset to keep fit) - jab, defence, power and chin. And he won it all? The first to win all the modern belts, just not held at the same time?

He’s great. He coined in term We Be Crooks

He also threw his WBC belt in the bin to avoid Lenox Lewis. So there is that… he’s certified though.

Fury last fought in December 22, so just over a year.
Also, If you believe his socials he has been pretty active in the gym over that time too.
More so than previously when he is between fights it would seem

because he never fought Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson, to be fair to him Tyson was in jail in the years they should have had a fight
 
Furys fight with Delboy was just an insult to fans a shameless cash grab though not as big a one as his next 'fight'! Be comical if he ends up getting a cut or injury in that circus that derails the Usyk fight.

As others have said though I'll believe the fight is gonna happen when the first round bell rings.

I think it will happen, Fury knows he has an AJ clash for his last fight regardless and I am sure he has the armoury to take down Usyk, and if he managed to lose the AJ fight will still pull in good numbers domestically

He more than matched Holyfield which to me says he could have had a fair scrap with Tyson or Lewis. He did fight Lewis in the Olympics and lost to an apparent dodgy decision.
