At this moment in time I have to agree and say Haye vs AJ is about 50/50 and as time goes on, it will slowly move more and more in AJ's favour. On Sat night he was catching Martin with proper boxing shots, not wild reckless swings the like that Wilder throws.

I can't wait for you Haye fans to eat your words if and when he eventually faces Joshua. I say IF because imo he should have to get through at least 1-2 half decent opposition first before Joshua's camp even contemplate throwing him a bone.

Lol Joshua's camp will want AJ to have 1 or 2 more fights before even contemplating DH.

Just to clarify, I'm just as much a AJ fan as I am DH.

Of course they would. The very first thing I've said numerous posts ago about potential opponents for Joshua was... Wilder and Haye are the most dangerous out there for him atm due to their speed and power.

The above in no way suggests (as others have) that Joshua would be out of his depth against Haye. This is the point that is being missed. Joshua DOES have a chance against Haye and Wilder, in fact, quite a good chance which will only get better as time goes on and he continues to improve. I mean what do people seriously think would happen if Joshua landed even a glancing blow on Haye? Anyone?

Realistically though, I think early 2017 we might see a Joshua vs Haye bout depending on how their other fights pan out. So many exciting potential fights out there right now in the heavyweight division, it's nice to see that boxing is back.

Can't wait for the Fury V Joshua fight. Hope Fury chins him, as much as i like seeing AJ floor all his opponents. I think realistically Fury's only chance is to outbox him and show the movement he used against Klit.

That's the only chance Fury will have of winning, fighting safe and outboxing Joshua. Using his size and reach to keep Joshua out and moving all the time, which he does well for such a big guy.

Looking at it from Joshua's perspective, is there any danger posed by fighting Fury? Not really. Fury does not have the power of Wilder or Haye so if he gets clipped early it probably won't matter. When Fury fought Klitchko and most people had written him off and were salivating at the thought of him being stretchered out the ring, I predicted in this thread that he had a very strong chance of winning. He still has huge flaws which someone with the size and power as Joshua, or power and speed of Haye can expose.

Fury has bottle, but he doesnt want any part of Joshua despite what he says on twitter. Fury sparred Joshua many years ago and he knows exactly what he can do.

Interesting little interview with Fury who is showing very little motivation or confidence that he'd beat any opposition of high calibre at the moment. He probably wouldn't fight Haye anyway because he dislikes him that much. He has to fight Klitchsko and he could lose, depends on whether Klitchsko actually throws any punches. The reality is though that Fury can get out of the game now without fighting Joshua because he has a valid excuse (-achieved all I wanted too) and no one would really say anything, they can only speculate on what would have happened.

Fury has known about Joshua for a long time, he's sat back and watched his progression. I've always said he wants no part of Joshua but the above just confirmed it for me. Styles make fights and AJ is all wrong for Fury, as intelligent a fighter he is - and he is that, he couldn't dodge AJ's right hand for 12 rounds and he knows it.

Another tweet from Fury to Joshua. He doesn't seem to stop... Does anyone get the impression Fury is try to get under Joshua's skin and get a fight like Dillian Whyte because he knows it was a poor performance from Joshua? Maybe he just simply wants to fight Joshua asap because he knows a few more fights down the line he may be a bit to much. Should be interesting as he already got a response out of Joshua in a previous Twitter exchange!

When Haye lands a HayeMaker on AJ he'll knock him into next year fella. I'd be far more worried for AJ then Haye.

Yeah probably, but I'd argue Joshua hits harder than Haye due to his size/weight advantage. Considering Haye has been KO'd by a cruiserweight, by your logic if Haye was hit by Joshua he would be knocked into the next century.

The thing about Haye is, he'd be running so much he'd be hard to hit clean. It's all a bit of a pointless arguement really, if Haye lands clean on Joshua its a KO, if Joshua lands clean on Haye, it's an even more devastating KO. Haye has more experience and moves quicker. Joshua is bigger and stronger. We'll never know who lands first until they actually fight, we can put our predictions in then.

Meanwhile, Fury doesn't seem to be motivated in the slightest bit for his rematch, he's put on a few extra stone which he needs to now try and lose..

GGG continues his KO streak by stopping unbeaten challenger Wade in round 2. If Wade had any plans they went out the window as soon as he was hit, he went down a few times in the fight and later commented his power is real.

Hopefully we see GGG vs Canelo later this year.

IBF heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua will make the first defence of his title on 25 June against American Dominic Breazeale at London's O2 Arena.

Breazeale, who stands an inch above Joshua at 6ft 7in, is a former Olympian and ranked 13th in the IBF rankings, below British pair Derek Chisora and David Haye.

Ranked 13th and getting a title shot? What the?

Breazeale is extremely limited.

Was being well beaten by a 43 year old slugger in his last fight before his opponent retired with a broken jaw (and a partially severed tongue requiring 30+ stitches).

To square the circle, Breazeale was actually due to fight AJ's last opponent, Charles Martin, before Martin got the offer to fight for a world title (in which he was supposed to be the nominal opponent for Glazkov's coronation, until Glazkov suffered an injury and had to quit).

In short, don't go buying PPV for this one.

Well said Fury :D

The reason I gave Fury such a strong chance of winning was because he has Vlad completely sussed out. Fury is as honest and straight as they come, and he knows his boxing game. Vladimir is a supreme athlete, he is a pure boxer who has been able to beat opposition with his height/size/reach - safety first approach. He is NOT a fighter.

Now when you take away his size/height/reach advantage and you put him in the ring with someone who is a bit fearless, Vladimir is in trouble. He was afraid to throw any meaningful punch in their first fight in case he was countered.

Bit concerned for Fury, to be honest.
He's always a bit odd, but I'm not convinced he's on top of everything right now.

I agree with this. I think with Fury doing the so-called impossible last time he's lost his motivation now, nor does he feel he's got the credit he deserved. Vladimir is the ultimate profession and you cannot go in against him half hearted because of his very high skill level. Fury was hungry for it in the first fight, imo he won that fight in the build up, he exposed Vlad for having no bottle whatsoever. The build up to this next fight seems different. Fury has let himself go completely, his dad has said a few times already he's had to talk him out of announcing his retirement. I think Fury turns up and gives it a go but the way he looks and sounds atm, he's not gonna win. He has to take this fight more seriously.
