I stayed up and watched it after being out last night....Sad to watch but was always going to be that way - I said either Tyson KO's him inside 30 seconds OR Paul wins on points by just dancing round the ring....

Paul to be fair was very gracious after the fight and I honestly think he was doing what he need to do to win, and certainly wasn't trying to KO/hurt Tyson...

Both have made millions off the back of it but I don't want to see any 50 year olds returning to boxing anytime soon.... Sad to see at times.
I just watched some highlights on YT, couldn't even finish that. It's frankly disgusting and shouldn't have been sanctioned as a professional bout.

A 60 year old today, isn't the same as a 60 year old 40 years ago. Consider the advances in sports drugs, supplements and hormone replacement therapy and even at 60 you can retain much of your speed/power. Even if Tyson is running at 70% of his younger days, he's still going to destroy you.
Looked it, it went exactly as I thought it would Paul literally toyed with him, he could have had him out at any point

I've not seen the fight but from what everyone is saying it was indeed a setup and exhibition fight. If he could, why didn't he? unless the terms for the fight were no knockouts and go the full 8 rounds.

From what I hear the Serrano and Taylor match was far more entertaining and actually involved fisty cuffs.

He would have been painted a Villain for KO a near 60 year old boxing legend.

Mike could barely move his legs and was a static target for Paul, it was sad to watch.

Paul just carried Mike for 8 short 2 minute rounds and then all friends at the end.

No doubt they will be partying all weekend laughing at the tens of millions they just made for half a sparring session.

To be fair it’s a joke I had a bet on a Paul win inside 4, Mike couldn’t move at all, it was painful to watch an idol box like this. Paul had him hurt in the 3rd round and stopped attacking. In his post fight press conference he said he didn’t want to finish him and could see him struggling. Just a joke as expected.

I’ve watched zero of the fight or lead up nor will I watch the highlights.

Saw the results. Anyone with a bit of common sense could’ve predicted the outcome.

Shame on anyone, in this thread and otherwise, who gave Tyson even a shred of a chance.

The only thing that's really noteworthy about the whole charade is that bookmakers are allowed to take bets on a fight that was almost certainly contracted to avoid 'particular outcomes'.

Why anyone in their right mind would bet on something like this is beyond me, it's like betting on WWE, you're betting on what you think someone has decided the outcome should be, not an actual contest.

I think many people were just hoping to see a prime tyson who at the first bell would think "to hell with the contract, im putting him to sleep"

Then we got a dose of reality and saw what the passage of time does :(

Somehow this was sanctioned as a professional fight too.
