Trilogy
It felt a fair result. Beterbiev really tried to put it on him from the start and I thought he looked more powerful and quite menacing. However, Bivol has taken all his best shots and his movement, distance judgement and general defensive skills meant that a lot of Beterbiev's punches land on the gloves or forearms. I don't think he landed too many clean shots, even to the body. Bivol weathered the storm and then outboxed him. I thought it was a brilliant performance under severe pressure.Everyone happy with the result? Over the two fights I think 1-1 is right but I think each fight was officially won by the wrong guy. But it all balances out. Will have to watch both again though!
Bugger, I fell asleep after the Parker vs Mr T (bone) fight.
I blame the England Scotland match. Too much excitement.
Will watch B vs B later.
Does anyone know with regard a rematch clause in the contract(s). IE is the trilogy nailed on or not?
As much as I enjoyed it I'd rather see Bivol take on someone else.Contracted or not - there will be a 3rd fight.
Public want it, both fighters will be paid handsomely for it - it will happen.
Lol that's planned/fake as **** but still funny.
Really glad Bivol won. I thought he won the first but I put it down to fanboy-bias lol
I’m not giving this fight any time of day. Saw the presser on my YouTube homepage and avoided it
Edit: instantly wanting to see it after your comment. I’ll hold firm though. I like Eubank Jr, he knows how to get under peoples skin even if he leaves you wanting more in the ring (!!)
