Interested to see the headline fight. I don't mind women's boxing but I feel it's still not quite the spectacle it could be. It's very much like amateur fighting for the most part. I think that's partly the two minute rounds which are clearly easier to condition for and the fact that few women seem to carry enough power to scramble the head of an opponent. You hardly ever see a KO but there are a lot of very competitive all action scraps.

Maybe they need to trial 3 minute rounds.

To be fair I've quite enjoyed it so far. Some good competitive fights. Caroline Dubois was hanging in there in the last round after looking really good for most of the fight.
 
Price is 5-0 up on Jonas. Natasha can't get near her.
Have to say Price has some of the best head movement I've seen on any boxer. Very hard to hit.

Was thinking this the other day when I heard Eddie being interviewed this week. This is beginning to look a bit like the situation in golf and more Saudi sport's washing. I cant deny I've enjoyed the cards put together in Riyadh Season but I do worry about monopolies.

Had one eye on it.
Hrgovic the better fighter but he's a plodder that made Joyce look dynamic which is why he won't break into the upper echelons. Two tough men that ate a lot of leather. How Joyce absorbs all of those shots is crazy, I hope he packs up rather than continue to be punched to dementia. Didn't score it 98-92 the way one judge did but Hergovic landed much cleaner shots. He complained about a lack of camp to get ready which I think tell you everything you need to know about him - ie he's not 100% committed.
Good slugfest but well short of top ten level.
 
Yeah it was a good fight to watch, Joe Joyce's head looked like a swollen beach-ball at the end, at one point I think he spat the crumbled contents of his skull into the bucket, whilst in his corner, I agree he should stop now - he took so much punishment.

I'd like to see Hrgovic fight again though, but he's not close to the elite level.
 
The game was up for Joyce after Zhang starched him the second time and if not then certainly after he lost to Del Boy!

Having a tough chin is good up to a point but if it just means you’re racking up an ungodly amount of punishment to your brain for later in life then maybe not so much!
 
Cameron vs Quitaker this weekend. Hope Cameron does the job on him, not sure if the 10 round/12 round dispute has been resolved yet. Never come across anyone in all of boxing as dislikeable as Ben Whitaker.
