100% agree, I thought these types of scenarios where left back in the 90’s. Considering what their dads were involved in they should know better. So unhealthy and dangerous this is so close to fight night
YeahDoes Eubank still refer to himself as Next Gen at 35?
Definitely not, have a look at the current welterweight ring magazine p4p Jaron Ennis at the weigh in for his previous bout, absolutely horrifying.100% agree, I thought these types of scenarios where left back in the 90’s. Considering what their dads were involved in they should know better.
Fighters aren't medical experts and if they're offered enough money then they'd sign up for other things that are equally as dangerous. In the same way Eubank agreed to fight Benn when he was juiced up for an extra £1m, it shouldn't be his (or any fighters) decision. No sympathy, they know what they signed up for.

It's boxing, what rules? It's like the wild west where promoters/fighters can do almost as they please as they have far too much power over the boxing board. We've seen on numerous occasions the boxing board have been threatened with legal action, which would bankrupt them, when they've tried to enforce rules and or punish those that have broken rules. In a world where the biggest fighters are allowed to dope without any punishment, how do you expect them to introduce and enforce rules around making weight? If it's within the current rules then it's their/their teams own doing. Sure the rules could/should be changed but if those are the rules then it's entirely their choice. Nobody is forcing Eubank to do it. If he's too greedy then he'll pay the consequences, at least £375k of them in this case.

Any system that forces or encourages fighters to go to these extremes is ****ed. Just because a fighter has agreed to it, it doesn't make it right. As I said, boxers (anybody in fact) would agree to no end of stupid things if you offered them enough money.
Not gonna be watching the fight as it's a circus but what I don't understand is how Eubank Jr has let himself be stitched up by Matchroom with all these weight and rehydration stipulations, he had all the leverage without this fight what does Benn have to go for? Guys come off a drug ban he needs Eubank more than the other way round!
Should have just been 'the fights at Middleweight standard rules take it or leave it' instead either through hubris or bad management he is having to boil himself to death while Benn can do what he wants. He has let Matchroom stack the deck against him willingly.
Both of them was always getting paid insane amounts to fight each other whether they deserve it or not because of who their dads areIts all about money, Eubank is getting paid insane amounts by people who did not even attempt to haggle his unrealistic unfair and undeserved pay demand.
Who as people got to win?
Eubank Jr is the favourite.
I've got a bet on Conor Benn
Its a 2 fight deal anywaythink connor benn wins tbh or it will be a draw so they can milk a few more fights.![]()
