Shameful embarrassing night of boxing, but expected nothing else from Haye trying to con his way to a world title fight. Least Briggs won't just roll over. They should infact get them to fight now, both of them just about warmed up.

I have no doubt he does but against the bigger guys he doesn't have the reach to land with his feet planted so has to jump in to punches which leaves himself open to the counter.

Fury
Klitschko
AJ
Wilder
Povetkin
Ortiz

The only 6 boxers who I think have a chance against Haye. The ones in bold beat him imo.

Haye vs Briggs will be a massive step up for Haye. He doesn't have the power to stop Briggs but has shown himself to be chinny at times. Really fancy Briggs to stop him after Haye gasses himself out.

Did you see how many times Briggs got hit in that fight ? Granted they didn't hurt him and you could argue that's why he took them but if walks in against Haye like he did tonight it would last 3 rounds tops.

I know Fury is World Champion but lets not kid ourselves here he's still THAT guy that hit himself! He's got a worse chin than Amir Kahn and Fraudley put together!

Reason Haye lost against Klitschko wasn't because of the difference in speed, strength or punch power it was because of the reach disadvantage. Klitschko kept him on the end of the jab all night and Fury, despite being a massive dumbass, has a world class jab. If Fury doesn't freeze on the night he can beat Haye on points very easily.

All makes sense until you remember Klitschko was 4~ years younger then and once he even thought about opening up against Tyson in the last round , Tyson poo'd his pants!

I understand your argument but if Tyson fought Klitschko off 5 years ago Tyson would have gone the same way as all the others.

Fury hasn't got devastating power and hasn't got a chin. All he's got is a jab and love handles :o Don't get me wrong I'm glad he beat Klitschko but I don't buy into the he's suddenly a brilliant boxer. I still see him fighting like a pub brawler on Ch 5 a few years ago!

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a clown and a long way away from being up there with the best in the division but he does have an immense size advantage and as we saw with Valuev, size takes you a long way in this division.

That actually didn't work out very well against Haye though did it?

Beat me to it! Didn't work very well for Fruadley or David Price either:p

On that note I'm off to sleep , I'll catch up on this in the morning

Haye can clean the division up. He's the best boxer around and the only person who can trouble him is AJ when he has more ring experience.

Klitschko is passed his best and Fury is a bum.

Rubbish, Fury would keep him at arms length and out score him.

There's more boxers that can trouble him as well. This is heavyweight boxing, everyone, especially people like Wilder and Ortiz have got a punchers chance. That speed is declining now he's hit 35.

That was without doubt the worst sporting event I've ever watched. Not just the boxing, the whole event was a joke.

I hope AJ tells him to do one. Constantly going on about fighting him, he's done less than diddly squat to be anywhere near a title shot. The authorities IMO should get involved with this one. Regardless of money involved, it should be refused to be sanctioned until he's earned it. All he's doing is trying to ride on the coat tails of AJ's success. He could pressure AJ into the fight, beat him and hurt the young mans career badly. Why don't he do the decent thing and go after Wilders or Furys belt first. At least make the match a unification.
