Total publicity stunt, Mayweathers never gonna put his reputation on the line by fighting with MMA rules so it'll be boxing and Mcgregor would get slaughtered.

49 professional boxers have faced Floyd and 90% of them haven't managed to lay a meaningful blow on him what hope does an MMA fighter have?!

Surely Conor is under contract with UFC anyway and they're not going to want to see their golden goose being humiliated so wont let it happen.

Pro vs novice.

It might be an interesting fight if it's scheduled for something like 30 rounds or maybe 5 minute rounds until one fighter can't continue. It would take something like that to even up the gulf between the disciplines.
