I didn't see the punch until I slowed the video down to 0.25. Jesus! That punch was scarily fast. I feel a bit bad for Bellew now

Same. I kept watching it over and over in real time and I didn't see it until I saw a video that slowed it down. I suspect it was just a bit of pantomime stuff though - Haye, Hearn and Bellew all know how to sell a fight.

Conor McGregor: UFC champion issued boxing licence to reignite Floyd Mayweather talk

UFC champion Conor McGregor moved closer to a possible fight with five-weight world champion Floyd Mayweather by securing a boxing licence.

The Irish fighter became the Ultimate Fighting Championship's first dual division champion in November.

McGregor, 28, has said he wants $100m (£80m) to meet Mayweather, who has played down the prospects of a fight.

The licence has been granted by the California State Athletic Commission, allowing him to box in the US state.

McGregor's trainer John Kavanagh has said he would "put a few quid" on a bout with the retired Mayweather, 39, taking place next year.

Never gonna happen. All just a giant publicity stunt for both men.

Any top domestic fighter would beat McGregor in a boxing match let alone Mayweather! That's no slight on McGregor he's an MMA fighter not a boxer, it's apples and oranges.

Dana White isn't going to let his golden goose go get humiliated stepping in a boxing ring with Mayweather.

true tho I want to see it

Haye does love the sound of his own voice.

I'll never get past the "broken toe"/Klitschko fight.

True and well, true.

But i reckon he is still best boxer we have out there atm and hopefully is given a title shot at something after this fight.

I dont think he'll be given AJ until he is clearly declining and for a last big payday.

Looking forward to this fight more than the Joshua v Molina fight. Seems to be a lot of bad blood between the two although they've both caused problems for their opponents before previous fights so they might just be a pair of *****.

Yeah Whyte V Chisora should a good fight, it's had the usual WWE buildup you'd expect from Chisora anyway :p

If Whyte wants to show that Joshua fight wasn't a flash in the pan and he's got a future at world title level he needs to be putting Del Boy away reasonably tidily here. Chisoras only really gatekeeper level and has been beaten everytime he's stepped up to world level.
