Just seen the knock out, I was watching it live in the boozer but missed it real time. Pretty devastating finish.

Whyte is no joke and has earned the right to challenge for titles. He could probably win too. I hope he at least gets his shot at the WBC now.

Would he? Whyte's looked good against an overweight bouncer but every other fight since the Joshua fight he's looked bang average and imo was lucky to have got the decision vs Chisora. In one respect you can understand Wilder not wanting to take any chances until he's had the big pay day vs Joshua but if he were to fight and beat Whyte in the meantime, not only does that make the Joshua fight bigger but also gives him a bit more leverage in negotiations too.

I'd say since the injury Whyte has made improvements every fight. I think Wilder vs Whyte makes a lot more sense for Wilder than Whyte right now and at some point whoever holds the WBC title will have to face Whyte and looking at the speed of his progress I'd be thinking lets get him in the ring next, not when he's got another two or three fights under his belt.

We can question what level Browne is at, but Whyte dealt him easy and missed with very little. I bet if he had gone up the gears and wasn't fighting for a mandatory spot, Browne would have had a serious problem as Whyte could have put a lot more on him. That jab> right hand> pause look for the upper cut could have easily been jab> right hand> left hook to the body half a step back> overhand right> uppercut> hooks!

Speed of his progress? Before Saturday he looked rubbish in every fight since the Joshua fight - he struggled to a points win over Dave Allen, a late retirement in the Lewison fight, imo got beat vs Chisora and then another laboured points win over Helenius. Not exactly the sort of record you'd expect from somebody that's supposed to challenge Wilder or Joshua.

Yep saw it earlier!

I'm going to give Sky Box office another chance - The last time I paid for one of their streams (I think it was Haye vs Bellew) it didn't work at all. It would play extremely laggy for a minute or so then completely freeze. I'm going to give it a go again on saturday for the AJ fight and if it doesn't work properly i'll be claiming my money back and never paying for one again!

Was very quick of him.

I know at elite level staredowns don't really mean much but it looked like AJ was really staring into his soul there. Intimidating, but not quite Tyson intimidating.

I think Parker is going to beat AJ, I think the AJ hype train is about to derail I just don't rate him at all.

Just got a feeling AJ is going to lose this one.

Should go on YouTube and type in Parker, not really fought anyone worth knowing and on. His knockout complication video it looks like nobody was fighting back. AJ will bring it to him and looks like a unit compared to anyone Parker has had in the ring.

I used to rate Price, had good KO power then he got starched twice by Tony Thompson and that broke his confidence totally. Now he just stands there like a big wardrobe waiting to gas or get KO'd.

Povetkin is a fair old step up from anyone he's been in the ring with as well. Price has a punchers chance in the first few rounds but he'll get stopped if he doesn't end it early.

I think Parker by KO or AJ on points... I believe if Parker is to win he will almost certainly need the KO... AJ could probably even weather a knockdown in a close fight and get the nod on points. My rationale:

AJ was pretty poor against Takam, it was a 'pity' stoppage but he never really buzzed him up. I think Parker is equally durable as Takam so I do not think AJ will be able to knock him out. On the flip side, while I believe Parker is somewhat limited going forward, I do think he has more to offer than Whyte who famously hurt AJ quite badly... If it turns in to a brawl it will favour Parker. Finally I think AJ has stamina issues that Parker can exploit.

Gonna go with Parker KO but I am almost universally wrong when predicting boxing matches.
