Didn't say he'd done it before or that he has ducked anyone as he hasn't at all but if he loses again that's him finished. So he's gonna take a few gimmie fights like Jim said. Wilder and Joyce etc are high risk, low reward fights so not worth him taking for the next year or 2.

Who did Wilder fight after coming off 2 loses…. Helanius and no one has give him any problems for doing so. He’s been ordered to fight Ruiz Jr next to become mandatory for Fury’s belt and so far has refused to. He’s rumoured to be fighting a UFC fighter next yet he’s still getting no stick.

All these fighters getting free passes yet AJ’s getting stick no matter what he does. C’mon be fair now you should be demanding that the greatest fighter the World has ever seen aka Fury, actually fights someone in the top 15 because to date he’s only fought 2 guys in Wilder and Whyte. Not giving AJ stick after coming off 2 losses against the guy the WBC champ is ducking.

Funny how everything was agreed at 50/50, then Usyk soundly beat AJ fair and square in a rematch a second time, making himself look an even better fighter - that Fury suddenly wants to tuck tail and run, even when offered the lions share of the cash.

A real fighter who wants fights and wants to prove themselves as the best, wouldn't care that much about perse splits, venues or whatever - they just want the fight.

Fury just doesn't have the stones for Usyk.

Fury was making excuses to not fight Usyk before the AJ rematch. He said there would be no interest in watching him fight a small foreigner. Well, Tyson, the whole world is interested now and you ducked it.

Crighton done very well considering he only took this fight on about Wednesday! Was a last minute replacement.

How Arthur beat Yarde is a mystery you see him tonight and he looks domestic level through and through.

I hate the UFC model. Boxing and UFC aren't like other sports - fighters are putting their bodies on the line each time they step into the ring and should absolutely have total control over who they fight and on what terms. Fans might not like it when fighters can't agree terms but tough **** in my opinion - it's not you that's getting into the ring and being punched in the face. What's happening in UFC now is not too dissimilar to what happened in boxing decades ago where fighters are tied into contracts, getting paid a tiny proportion of the revenue generated while the promoters got rich.

There should still be rules or guidelines that stop this on off on off crap happening all the time.

Fans are the ones who fund the fighters and the contempt being shown especially by Tyson Fury is disgraceful.

I have no problem with fighters being paid lots of money but stop taking the ****. If you don’t want to fight because of x,y or z then just say it but don’t come out with some bull and expect everyone to fall for it. This is why I refuse to pay money to watch fights, I won’t be taken the mickey out of and pay them for the privilege.

This is my view. I hate that Dana White gets rich off of the fighters whilst their biggest stars get paid peanuts in comparison to boxing. They have short careers and their health is on the lune, it's their right to earn megabucks

There should and it shouldn't be difficult to do. Governing bodies need to have clearer and tougher rules for Champions and even ranked fighters - you must fight every x months (whether that be a voluntary or mandatory fight) or you lose your belt/place in the rankings. Obviously if there are valid medical reasons for a fighter not fighting then they can be made champion in recess. This still gives fighters the power to choose their own destiny, which in boxing they should have, however it prevents all the farting around, negotiating for months and then not fighting.

I agree, but I feel like Fury would just spend the rest of his career fighting bums. He’d rather vacate than fight someone who can actually beat him.

And that's his right Rob but if and when Fury fights said bum, demand for tickets will reduce and less people will be buying the PPV. You only have to look at Joshua's upcoming fight - he's gone from selling out Wembley to Hearn resorting to 'dynamic pricing' (Hearn speak for slashing ticket prices) to hopefully sell out the O2.

We all want to see the biggest fights but I'm very uncomfortable with the suggestion of forcing somebody to fight x, they're not slaves. Sadly I don't believe you'll ever get an agreement between all the different governing bodies but it would be great if (when you have just two fighters holding all the belts) they could order the undisputed fight as a mandatory with a set split. Again, one or both fighters don't have to take the fight but they'd be forced into vacating if they didn't.
