Its meant to be safer than traditional boxing though. Looks harsher but much less sustained head beating.
 
Boxing gloves are also to protect the attackers hands from breaking not the person getting hits noggin, it's a bit of a misconception that the gloves are some sort of cushion for the face!

I think with bare knuckle you'd get a lot more broken hands and cheekbones etc but maybe less continual concussive blows. Which is better/worse pick your poison it's still people hitting people in the face so probably not great for your long term health!
 
bare knuckle does far more damage why you only do 5 rounds max. imagine if it was like when my grand dad did it or great grandad or even before that. there was no limit to rounds you just kept going until whoever stopped.
 
Shame, he gave it a good go, on another night he might actually get it done late, but alas not to be.

I kind of hope Dave tries for the British title again, I think that's very achievable if he keeps the current commitment levels, he would be very worthy.

dave left to late if he started earlier maybe but mak just boxed better. the winner of this gets AJ . AJ will destroy mak.

Usyk now claims he will fight for another couple of years so a showdown with Itauma looks almost certain if both keep winning and remain injury free :)
 
well this weekend is a big one parker and wardley brain says parker all day long but wardley hes not the best boxer but i feel hes got a big right hand for parker to upset this party. usyk wont fight whoever wins. not enough money
 
I have a feeling Wardley is going to win. He's not the better boxer for sure and was out boxed by Huni last time out but Parker looks a bit overweight as if maybe he hasn't taken this that seriously. He's been nearly beaten by Zhang, lost to plodding Joyce and I just have a feeling that he might once again fall at the last hurdle.

To me Parker looked very strong and powerful though, I suspect its part of the game plan to have some heavy fire power knowing Fabio will stand and fight.
Who knows in boxing though, anything can happen on the night.
 
parker is massive for this is the better boxer and probably a stone heavier or more than wardley. only way wardley wins this is knockout parker is just too good.

bare knuckle is also on from 8pm so great night of fighting. parker vs wardley ring walk 10pm.
