**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

I really can't decide which phone to get next. My Nubia M2 has been great but I've cracked the screen, the call speaker volume is failing and I'd like something a little more up to date.

Pocophone at £230?
Mi Mix 2 at £215?
Honor View 10/Play at £240?
Redmi Note 6 Pro at £170?

Lots of good choices but all with their pros and cons and no standout ultra bargains.

A fellow Nubia M2 owner. Most unexpected!

For me one of the best parts of that phone is the AMOLED screen. I wouldn't want to go back to IPS. That severely restricts the available choice of phones. The Mi 8 might be the best compromise, but it isn't cheap.

I've gone for the Mix 2. Just looks lovely, hope the battery isn't too bad. If I don't like it I can probably sell it on and get most of my money back, was only £212.

Almost went for a Max 3 at £190 but not sure if it's just too big.

Thats cheap mate were did you buy it from?

PS, nice to see my 2015 thread still going strong!

I think people have woke up and realised that you can get a decent phone for decent money without getting ripped off. I have been buying Xiaomi phones for a few years and never had a problem. I just wish other people would follow. I have to say a fair few have.

Got my Poco F1 128Gb today, Says Global international version but came with a sticker with 2 pins on the box and an adaptor(2 pin to 3 pin UK) :(
Did anyone else get a 3 pin charger in the box?

I'm not 100% up to speed on the Poco but I'd be amazed if they came with a 3 pin in the box. Every Chinese phone I've ever had (all international versions) have been 2 pin with a separate adapter.

Yep, Global means the Phone and ROM are global, not the charger :)

UK charger with mine.

Not sure I love the mess of a UI, the duplication between Google apps and services and the MI apps and services is a mess.

Why do all the manufacturers just not use vanilla android? I'm totally out of touch with android but it seems very fragmented.
