In the meantime I'm sat with adoring eyes of my white PS4. Beautiful :)

Some of the remorse you guys are feeling I also felt on my first play on the beta, but then something just clicked on my subsequent try. I'd be happy with just even a little more content than the beta. Too big of a world scares me off, like Borderlands. I'd prefer to play in some confines and fully explore, then explore further as and when Bungie open the game up further.

yeah, dont think you can in the normal game. Which sucks because you cant change the angles etc to see what they actually look like and mine looks a pudding. Wondered if you can change clothes too as a mate got a long cape for his Hunter player.
 
Does anyone know what the laurel thingy and star means after you finish a mission? I've completed the top mission once with dying, and had another go without dying, yet it still only has a star. Any ideas?

We initially thought it was whether you've completed it on hard or not but now we just think it's certain key story missions have that symbol.

Would if I could. Entered 3 games so far and each has kicked me out with network issues. Same as beta. I've switched ISPs since then, have an A grade ping test, open NAT, wired connection..

Yeah its only certain story missions with that symbol on them, i just checked the moon and the first mission has the same symbol.
 
Finally lv8 after 4 disconnects in 6 hours, really annoying to be thrown back to beginning of a unspawnable story mission, happened all 4 times, lol. Apart from that loving it, but it's still Halo for Ps4 in the end.

Ps, ordered at 4.50 yesterday afternoon from Shopto, doormat 11.50am this morning.

Interesting to see the varying viewpoints after getting the game - I thought the Beta made it pretty clear if it would be a game you would enjoy or not.

I think the FPS view probably doesn't help matters - its a MMO with that viewpoint, not the other way round.

This game just doesn't work without a fireteam IMHO - it's just too grindy - but that's always what I've found with MMOs, it's just the loot and levelling up for some is an enjoyable ride. This game does need Bungie producing content regularly and making sure they keep it fresh with events and the like

Madly I've rolled two characters already so done the Earth twice!

Just been looking on metacritic and every person who has given it a 0 (just about) have only ever done this one review. Which means (to me) a lot if not all are just trolls.

A game that gets 0 means its unplayable and its in no way that.

This would have got a lot higher mark but the zero's are effecting the score quite a lot.
