anyone know what the deal is with level scaling as a high level player going back to low level areas?? seems like they lower your attack / defense to the appropriate level or something.
 
So...where is all the loot? Granted i'm only level 8 and have played 4 main story missions and went on a seemingly infinite patrol, but I've only stumbled across 3 loot crates. I have been looking about too not just going straight for the objectives.

Is there a lack of loot crates or am I just blind?

The chests are fairly well hidden. Me and some mates were messing around trying to knock each other off a cliff with the hover bike things, and one of us fell down onto a hidden ledge and stumbled on a chest. Then a minute later found a golden chest a bit further down the cliff.

Have a Google of Destiny Chest Locations, there are a fair few guides out there.

Tuesday I played all night with 2 mates and had a blast. Since then I've just been by myself. Those 2 mates only play 2-3 times a week and the other 3 are all Level 21+ already. I did some pvp with lateralus and turbo last night, much more fun in a group.

Put me down as a maybe for tonight. My boss is leaving for a new job so we're all going to the pub at 3, depends how long I stay out and if I can even see the screen :p
 
Level 12 warlock. PvP has really grown on me now, very satisfying. Still on the moon which I am loving. I don't know whether to get her to 15 then roll a hunter or continue with the story and get to 20...

Not sure why people are hating on this game even when they have no intention of buying or playing it? Stop whining and go do something else ffs
 
Looks like Bungie are already getting more content ready. I don't know whether they left it quite light in some areas to see which direction people wanted the game to go in before they added to it.
 
I don't really like my current character (the one with the knife), seems to be crap.

is there a comparison image of their different capabilities? so i can make a more informed choice before i start again with a different character

The hunter? I really like playing with that class. What is the matter with the character?
 
I've been trying to res people with the Sunsingers ulti and I've not been successful so far. Do I literally need to be standing on their corpse to do it? The last time I tried I was just a few metres away and nothing happened, it could just be that the old class descriptions I've been reading are incorrect and the sunsinger can only self res.

Also does anyone know if the loot on the strike playlists scales in quality with the level selected? I'm level 21 at the moment and the only gear I get is worse than my current stuff(I usually only get gear with 2-5 light doing lv20 strikes, making it impossible to level up)

Well im VERY tired today after staying up wayyyyy too late with my brother playing this.

Im glad I bought it, as ive not had that much fun in ages.

As someone who doesnt play FPS much, but plays a lot of traditional MMO it felt fresh to me and had so much fun playing together.

Great game so far IMO.

That being said im not sure how i'd feel playing it solo.
 
Yeah the fact they have introduced clans into the game but no quick or easy way to locate, play with or talk to them seems a tad strange. Unless it is something they are still working on and haven't got right yet

Indeed, it would be nice to see some XP bonuses like 'Clan assist' etc as well.
 
It does actually say on the admin panel for a clan that once you have 3 members you will be eligible for rewards, anyone happen to know what these are?
 
I had an awesome session last night with a random doing strikes, we did about 4. Was absolutely brilliant, mainly because we were working as a team as opposed to just doing our own thing on the same level.

Got some really nice loot too and got to level 21
 
Just finally purchased my copy of Destiny on PS4 in my local Asda. Can not wait to get home to play it over the weekend. Loved the beta and alpha.
