Of 6 days I have booked off work this year to have a game in peace (have a 3 yr old son so dont get much time on the weekend) ..... 4 of those days PSN has been down.
Only two of those occasions has been down to a game release.
That isnt including this joke right now.
Going to pop down to CEX tomorrow and see what the going rate is for a PS4, Camera and pile of games. I just don't have the time to waste on this drivel whenever I try to use it.

I just not sure that stress testing code redemption or downloads is relevant. I've never had a problem redeeming a code and with pre-loads for digital customers, I expect the pain with Destiny to be logging on to the game on the first day/weekends.
The whole thing feels like a debacle and wasting my time. I know I should leave it for a bit, and try later.

Can someone explain to me how it started to download, said it downloaded and took less than a minute... and I can launch it????? WTF

Depends what they offer me. Stick to PC gaming, fed up with the PSN doing this every time I put time aside for a game.
When you run the game it will install a load more.
