I'm actually starting to get more into the game now and although it's far from a classic for me I'm starting to "enjoy" it more now. :)

I have shared your opinions in certain areas of the game. Its hard to tell if there is enough lasting appeal for me, and how much variation will come as the explore bits just feel uber repetitive but i assume thats only in to grind up levels if need be?

I had fun with a couple of mates just doing the bits where you go and get mini missions around the map. Had some quite funny moments on the speeder bike things.

I think it's a game to be played with friends after a few beers. :)
 
Everything about this game says Epic to me. Graphics, locales, the fps gameplay, the levelling and equipment, I like the like the fact the plot isn't just mindless militarism which always repelled me from Halo.
 
Absolutely loving this game- They've got a great balance between mmo and fps to please both crowds. Constantly exploring , finding random team events, big battles, loot.

Picking up green items then upgrading to get perks is great fun. I'm finding there is always something to do. You can be exploring one second then another jump in with a friend for pvp. Everything count towards your player progression so it's quite flexible.

Actually surprised this has lived up to the hype. Definitely more fun with a team though. Tempted to order one of the limited editions

And anyway, I agreed with him on the Alpha does that me me a troll? I am enjoying this more though but I'm not that far into it so my view may change.
 
The Boss battles are a proper grind! You literally spend 20 minutes shooting>go into cover>shooting>get some ammo>shooting.
 
What are peoples favourite primary weapon - I keep swapping between pulse and scout rifles

Found special/secondary weapons kinda useless in most circumstances - heavy machine gun is so nice though :)...

I really like hand cannons for PvE. Fire off lots of headshots and take out enemies quickly, for PvP i stick with a trusty Auto Rifle, don't do well with a Hand Canon in this at all

so far im almost level 4, have to say im really enjoying it. Because im used to shooters on the PC the FOV seems a bit tight but im used to it by now.

Cant say im a big fan of the tower city, but once im out in the world its great fun.

Had a few moments when i get sidetracked on missions and go wandering off only to find much higher level mobs, suprisingly i was able to kill some and picked up some nice items.

Im playing as a titan droid, really enjoyed the first mini arcon boss altho the Ai seemed a bit silly when you could attack from one side then flank them to see them all still shooting towards your last position. Shoot from the flank, rinse and repeat :)

Got to the point now where im starting to see more players out in the world so i guess thats progress :)

First taste of a console shooter and its good fun, really need to get me a headset tho. Any recommendations

I found the Shotgun pretty useful up close, nice to whip out when you're nearly cornered!
 
I'm using a pulse rifle with automatic fire upgrade for primary, sniper rifle for special and machine gun for heavy.

The sniper rifle is really handy in pve, it can kill a hive knight in one shot.
