I seen people constantly. In the Tower there are usually a lot of other players, and on each map I see half a dozen typically.

Is there no setting you have on that makes your game 100% private or something?



Been playing the Beta a lot and have to say, i enjoy the beta alone more than any other game of the last few years - except the Soul's games.
Thought I'd really like Destiny, but I love it 10x more than I expected!!

Does it ever get more involved than going to an area and killing some guys?

I know most FPS games can be boiled down to that but there's no setpieces or storyline events so far.

I've played the story missions and they are short (but fun!), although I expect them to get more in depth as things progress. Either way I enjoyed the few hours I spent playing and ran into at least 5 different random world events during missions or that free-roam explorer thing where you roam about and find little sub missions.

Looking forward to the release :)
 
Had great fun playing with Zhokel and ps3udo last night, especially after I found my mic. Now changed my order to the Limited Edition for £80, which makes perfect sense considering the season pass is going to be £35 on its own.
 
Really enjoying this game I must say. Me and 2 friends last night done a strike, and it was so much fun. I cant wait for the full release.

What do you get for the Limited Edition? do you need the season pass to play online?

Is the Expansion pass the same as the season pass ?

I thought the limited edition comes with the first 2 expansions only. The season pass is all 5.

I can't find anything about a season pass and only an expansion pass which has 2 expansions? :S

I have no idea either all I can find is that the Expansion pass will include the first 2 expansions of a planned 8 at $19.99 each ???

I find all these pay to play extras a bit confusing.

The easiest way (in my opinion) to think about it Moogley, is akin to Everquest or World of Warcraft. Bungie have a planned lifespan of 10 years for Destiny. So as this is more or less an MMO, a steady flow of expansion packs (DLC) is their only way of guaranteeing income since this is free to play. The only other way they could fund server maintenance etc. is to have a in game shop, which could get out of hand pretty fast, so I will happily pay £20 or so twice a year for expansions to avoid that. I have the utmost trust and faith in Bungie they will make the expansions worth it.

Loving the game, trying to restrict myself to playtime, but its not really working at the moment! :D

The season and expansion packs are the same thing as far as I know. The DLC will be £20 each so getting it for £35 effectively makes the additional Limited Edition stuff free. I can see myself playing this for quite some time so I'm happy to pay for it.
 
Loving this game
Me and my brother (wanderer89 on here) playing as a fireteam albeit it a small fireteam lol makes it far more enjoyable and prefer games where team play makes it better and sometimes essential

Not played online yet just going through the missions

they are pretty funny, having them talking in the background, calling me a girl :P

was first time playing the game with 2 friends, bit different ;)
