If I play this on my PS3 do I still get tomorrow's special reward if I then play the full game on PS4? Are your characters linked to your PSN ID rather than platform?

Yes progress carries over between platforms (PS3 to PS4 and 360 to One but not between manufacturers) Whether this is true of the reward I don't know.

Absolutely! I wasn't really interested in the game until I played. Now I can't wait for it.

I was just playing in a crucible round, winning my team but not the match and some guy on the opposite team messaged me saying "Cheater Reported.". I was like what, how can you even cheat on a console?

edit: Now he reckons he's sending a video to Bungie, I'm not even sure of what he thinks I've done that's cheating.

I hope so, that would be the worst kind of irony. My most anticipated game and I get banned for NOT cheating before it's even out.

he probably was unable to hit you at some stage, don't worry about it.. there was an issue with the net code that made anyone with a poor internet connection almost invincible.. basically hits against someone with a worse connection didn't count yet hits they made to you did, I thought that had been sorted but I'd guess it was something like that.

Don't think its that I'm on fibre, getting about 25mb down and 4 to 5mb up over wifi.

It's a beta, it was probably a bug of some kind, Bungie will just thank him for pointing it out if they even look at it.

I agree its was just bug somewhere, happened to me a couple of times, fire point blank but nothing happened, think I've been on the other end to, people should have killed me but somehow I got the kill.

Having this issue as well. Signed up to the now open beta but trying to get instructions on how to actually download and play the thing is proving difficult. Unless im missing the blatantly obvious

Wonder if they will nerf the Titan's ground smash in the full release? I was using it last night and it does seem to be easy kills, but also good for clearing out control points.

I doubt it, I think if any class will have a small nerf it will be the Hunter, the golden gun is very good in pvp and at this point they've got the best jump in game.

I'm going to play a Warlock in the full game, I decided that before I even played the alpha, they don't have much health in PVE but I enjoy playing it.

Is it the one by the cliffs near the rusted ships? He took me ******* ages to kill. First time I've killed him though so he could always be like that. All the other yellow enemies that spawn consistently are still easy to kill.

That's the one yes. I just wondered if it was just him, or whether any other enemies have been buffed. He was a proper health sponge last night but he wasn't earlier in the week.

Haven't noticed any more tough enemies so far

This is all a bit bizarre. After 48 hours of rock solid performance on the Xbox 360, now playing on the PS3 and I keep getting chucked back to orbit because of network errors. Hopefully not a sign that the PS network side of things is unstable.

Then again, it's only a beta which I keep forgetting. They could be doing some maintenance or back end tinkering.
