*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

I'm enjoying the story missions so far. The combat's nice and chunky and everything's pretty enough. The multiplayer isn't doing it for me at all tho. I'm a big fan of Halo's mp, but from early impressions Destiny plays like CoD with space weapons. Super quick deaths, spam everywhere. It's like they've thrown the measured pace that made Halo and turned it into a who sees who winds game of tag.
 
Agreed on multiplayer, I'm someone who typically skips SP and goes 100% MP - this time though...

Perhaps team deathmatch or free for all may play better.

Hmm, well as much as I appreciate the bonus moon level,meh. Mooooaaaar :(

Cant seem to get a game on Iron Banner, just sits looking for other players.

The Sahara-AR3 i have only does 45 attack.

My Shingen-C does 57 though, it wiped out everything coming out of that moon temple and everything in it with ease.

Is the moon only that one mission, i havent met the requirements to start the other two..
 
The moons not showing up for me, only lvl 3 though.

I've held off on playing this because its not long before its out and I don't wanna have to replay it all again (it my put me off abit) and it'll be more new to me on release.

I had to check it though just to see if it was anygood.

Enjoyed what I've played.
 
i think the moon mission on normal you have to be level 6. (Hard is level 9)

Iron banner isn't finding any players for me on XB1.

EDIT: yes level 6 for normal.

Dont know as nothing has happened for me after I completed moon. I did win a choice of 3 heavy weapons but no beta gift to speak of. Still no iron banner game mind.
 
Fudge sake I need to know I can't stay on all night lol.

I'm guessing it's not an item we get for beta....maybe just an account bound item
