Destiny servers will admit Guardians as soon as it is September 9th somewhere in the world. When you play is between you and your retailer.

Its 12 in NZ at about 1pm on monday for us so that is when we should be able to play.

I ordered from amazon it said get this item on release day choose 1st class delivery, which was the only option, is this guaranteed for delivery on Tuesday?. 1st class can take a couple days.

So just to confirm, this is basically an FPS set over an MMO area yes?

Presumably there are raids and levelling up and loot and armour and weapons and such?

Oh yes. Not so much loot as say Fallout etc, but drops are mainly armour and weapons, plus the occasional power ups, such as ether seeds which are consumables that grant temporary increased point scoring etc.

Its more FPS biased, but I think thats its mainstream draw, especially for the likes of me.

How did Sony manage to stop MS from being able to advertise Destiny?
Id like to give you an answer, but I actually dont think you are that thick not to be able to work it out - its actually pretty simple...

Give you a hint, its nothing to do with Sony directly ;)

Well, what, Bungie just in the UK wanted to try and hurt MS?

Seems damn odd that Sony is the ONLY one allowed to advertise on a multiplatform game, seems kinda scumbag ish, is this was an MS move, all hell would be breaking loose against them.

Oh just like Call of Duty is only advertised on the Xbox? Its been happening for ages, and its all part of the cross promo/Exclusive stuff deal Activision has done with Sony for Destiny.
