Pre-ordered gold edition, £20 cheaper on Amazon the the PS Store  Thought about the agent edition but I can't really justify the best part of a ton for a watch and an armband.

Was planning on PC but it feels like it's a living room game with mates regardless of the graphic drop from PC.

Just need to book the 8th March of work now :D:D

PSN is still charging £55 for Elder Scrolls Online, I got it for £10 on Amazon. PSN is a complete rip-off most of the time.

I haven't played this yet but going by the general consensus, it looks like I'll bet getting it.

Defo enjoyed playing this in a fireteam. I hope the game doesn't get nerfed anymore than it already has, gfx are acceptable - but saying that I used to be mainly a PC gamer so PS4 gfx don't exactly set the world alight for me :)

I thought there was a tad too much information on the screen at times, it gets confuzzling very quickly. Apparantly can switch some of this stuff off.

Content wise I can't say I was that impressed but it is just a demo I guess lol. I hope the actual finished product has loads of missions and less trekking around half the map.

Lets hope Ubisoft don't screw it up (nerfing the game anymore on ps4) and can maintain the online servers properly. Hate it when I want to game and PSN or the game's servers are down etc.

I'm 90% PC Gaming but went for this on the PS4 and I can confirm I'm happy. Like Destiny it feels like a living room game for me, kicking back on the couch for hours on end.

Managed to get into a good wee team last night and basically had a blast in the dark zone. Think I ended up putting about 10 hours in yesterday!

The beta has been good enough for me and they seem to have kept a lot of elements back so I've stuff to look forward to.

It definitely appeals to the loot grind fiend in me, always wanting that next upgrade.

Not perfect, but for me enjoyable so far.

Finally went into the Dark Zone expecting to be gunned down right away. Had no issues, walking around maki my way to the Empire State Building I came across some Rouge's in a gun battle with some other non-rouges so I decided to join in. I ended up killing a non-rouge thus turning me rouge. I ended up getting killed, once I resplendent I went back in to the DZ to find out what all these extraction areas are. Called in a chopper and waited, two other guys ended up joining me and we all got some DZ loot.

Once we collected our loot we went our separate ways and I headed back to the safe zone. I try to keep one step ahead and always use my radar blip to see if there are any Rouges about. If alone, just stay out of sight and try to find a way around them.

I'm really enjoying this game, will have another couple of hours on it but unless something bad changes between now and day one, It's a yes from me.

Just need a OCUK crew on here to help when venturing into the DZ.

How big is the map, is it fallout/witcher 3 size or small? I've heard mixed opinions.

Its difficult to gauge as lots of sections are not available in the beta. Any statements at this point are just estimations.

Just got this and absolutely kicking ass now.

those are like 300,000 DZ credits from the safe house vendor ? or did you find one in a drop ?

My thoughts so far:

Overall i'm feeling pretty confused about it. I enjoy a lot of the game mechanics and the weapon / player customization is great. The crafting system looks to be great fun and there's so much more to do that isn't in the beta.

I liked the ability to swap out your skills on the fly and how you're not tied into a class. I like how you pick up the loot and crafting materials and it feels like a very good RPG

That being said I've got huge reservations about what I found in the beta. I found some random encounters and side missions and even within the small scope of the beta I found reptition. It seems like the mission / side mission / encounter section is going to be exactly like wathdogs. 4 or 5 different types that just get randomly spread across the map in different settings. Just rinse and repeat.

The darkzone also appears to suffer from not having enough mobs and too many players running round griefing each other. There also appears to be a lack of mechanisms to prevent griefing people as they come out of the door into the dark zone. Several time yesterday I encountered people who were just camping outside the door and killing anybody that came in. If you just want to play solo and go and farm some mobs, there isn't enough space and enough mobs that you can mind your own business and stay out of everybody else's way. You just constantly run into people who just want to kill anything that moves because there's nothing else to do

The other problem seems to be the constant confusion around who is who. So often you see groups fighting and you're never quite sure who is the one that's griefing and who is the one that's trying to defend themselves. Normal human reaction is to step in and help the guy being attacked, but so often you end up with multiple groups all fighting in the same space and you've no idea if the group running up to you is the bunch of ****ers who just griefed you earlier, or if they are another group who are looking for that same group and are on your side.

I think the DZ could be good, but for me they need a Darkzone that is PVP enabled and one that has PVP disabled. Anybody who just wants to go in and hunt NPCs for good loot without getting involved in the griefing can do so without issue.

It cost i think 3100 DZ Credits. I got the shotgun today as well, absolutely wrecking people in the DZ.

I've not actually worked out yet what pays and what doesn't. What actually gets you dark zone credits ?

Killing NPC's gives a small amount, killing rogues gives a big amount like 100+ minimum, if they've killed a load of people then 300-400+.

If you go rogue and survive it then 200+ minimum, we were a little short last night got 200+ seconds as rogue and survived and got over 350+ credits each.

I absolutely love this game, especially the DZ. It's hilarious when you kill players as they're about to extract, steal their loot and then extract it :D

I've survived a couple of rogue rank 5 manhunts, the reward is pretty good. Nothing astronomical though.

Rank 12 DZ, 8 PvE, with full blue/purple gear. I've also got the Caduceus which is a bit of a monster.

I'll be on again tonight if anyone fancies a mooch around the DZ.

Definitely need to get a full team for the DZ and go rogue hunting
