Likewise, hopefully Ubisoft realised why Destiny had such a torrid time after what was a very well received alpha/beta rather than see how much money they have made and purely follow suit with some RNG-reduced gameplay.
The worry is that it these types of games seem to do really well in small doses when content is brand new - hopefully its less likely to dupe gamers now Destiny made as a bit more aware how that content is recycled.
I find these criticisms of Destiny quite amusing. Pretty sure Activision aren't looking at the 20 million+ units shifted thinking it's had a 'torrid' time. How many console titles have had two threads constantly at the top of this forum or thereabouts for a full year? Sure it feels a bit limited in scope at times, but considering it's a PS3/XB360 game it's a miracle it manages *any* kind of multiplayer online world.
But back to topic, Snowdrop certainly isn't being held back by last gen hardware, I expect the persistent world part to be far more substantial. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.
