***** The Official Division Thread *****

their main argument was that playing it on your own wasn't really going to be representative of what the game is actually like for people who will have it come release.

Data Mine Summary
1) DLC weapons- these aren't confirmed but they were the only weapons in the files with DLC tags, so read that as you may
2) We now have a full mission list featuring 28 missions. One of these is a Brooklyn mission called 'Precinct Siege' and the other is called 'DLC KILL THE TANK', which I think we can pretty safely assume relates to the recent footage we saw of the Tank enemy.
3) We start the game in Brooklyn.
4) Daily missions are confirmed to award Phoenix points
5) There is an animation file for deploying claymores even though there are no claymores in the game. This could be a future ability/item
6) Safe houses provide map updates, matchmaking and vendors
7) It's highly likely that crafting items will produce items with random stats, so we'll need to keep crafting till we get the roll we want/need. Alternatively if it's gear (not weapons) we can utilize the Re calibration system...
8) Recalibration system lets you 'reforge' an item so that you change one stat on that item for another. It only affects gear (not weapons). Once you change one 'stat slot', that stat slot is the only one you change again. Each time you reforge the same 'stat slot' it costs more resources (unclear what these are but likely credits + crafting materials
9) There is a cheeky Doom easter egg in the game files- I found an assault rifle named the 'BFG 9000'. Unlikely but here's hoping :)

I was able to start the download on my digital PS4 copy this morning. If you're getting it digitally, best get it downloaded now so it's ready for Tuesday.

Just finished up far cry 4 yesterday in time for this. Also I noticed that they are working on clothing sets :(

Do they mean stuff like gloves knee pad that have already have mods? Or will peoples jackets and hats have mods? Hate it in mmos where everyone just looks the same.

DLC weapons don't bother me at all. Battlefield has been doing this for years and its fine. Just because they're in the DLC doesn't mean they are all of a sudden going to render the normal guns useless, even if the DLC weapons are good and excel in particular areas (eg high rate of fire low accuracy close range shredding machine)

Random rolls for crafting items was already confirmed by those that played the game at the press event that the youtubers etc.. went to. More here
