Is that normal dps? I have 110k dps on my purple vector. I thought it would be higher.

DPS varies hugely depending upon your own character build.

Somebody could get 70k DPS, hand the very same gun over to somebody else, and them get 180k DPS.

You can't compare weapons like that.

have you done todays already ? they refresh at midnight. UTC which will be 1am now clocks have gone forward.

If you open your map and use the L1 or left shoulder on xbox the dailies should be the 3 missions at the top of the legend on the right.

That's really cool actually. I still don't really see the value in an Electronic build apart from this though when you only really have 2 skills and long CDs on them, it's certainly seems best to just make your guns do more damage and to have more life.

Mine are all showing with the ability to do challenging on all. No more dailies showing giving pheonix mark on hard...

Anyone else look on ps4?

Edit: reset now 1am... Harsh

Well last night managed to finish my first challenge mode off. Managed to get into a group of about 7 and we just annihilated everything in our path. Sticky bombs galore lol, ran it three times before I guess the leader of the group got fed up and kicked me off.

Should have my vector acp blueprint later today as I managed to solo both dailies easily enough.

Finally starting to enjoy the game, jut took some time to get myself decently geared up. Now I'm starting to tinker with a few armour mods and seeing how it affects my dps and health. Trying to get my skill power higher but hard as anything I equip with skill takes my dps down quite a bit.

Yeah it's worth sticking with. Challenge mode is such a huge leap compared to hard. You will soon be carrying teams yourself and just be using them as extra dps.

This game is a true rpg and all about gear and builds.

Be carful when modding the vector. A lot of mods add false dps. Acc/blind fire ect. You want weapon damage, crit hit and crit damage, headshot damage. Range is also pretty useful.

Get yourself down to the firing range for testing out weapons and mods.

One for Dredd

Love the idea of having another gear set thats all electronics to play like this and switch things up a bit.

pretty much my build since day one :) but i've lost bit of skill power and need to get 40,000+ back again

electronic build great fun. i can't take any hits, mine DPS and skill.

A high skill build can be awesome especially if you are the designated support for your team (although it is also fun simply to use solo as well).

Increasing your skill power means your skills will, simply put, have greater effect. Turrets will do more damage, sticky bombs will have greater damage/debuff, smart cover will provide more of resistance and support stations will heal faster.

Once I level off my build I want to put more emphasis on skill as I love the "flashbang" sticky bomb... :D

Sorry for missing your invite last night Dredds, I was in the middle of taking down Bliss / not dying to rush shotgunners (who glitched out, disappeared and then re-appeared directly behind me from a dead end... *fun times* - I also lost all audio which made things even more "exciting".... :o).

Finally got some decent Aug rolls, one with the headshot bonus perk and the other with +40% stability & 13% Armour destruction. The latter is lower on DPS (thanks to the lack of headshot bonus) but shreds through enemy armour noticeably quicker (at least level 30's). Neither are perfect but I am consistent with them (they are both identical on base DMG & Crit chance).

I am enjoying the daily "hard" missions (solo or with the Mrs) but I really need to start working on the challenge missions.

Right after a few random pvp encounters in the Darkzone yesterday :D I figured I need something in between the Midas and Vector. The Vector is a pure burst dps weapon but found myself reloading more than shooting.

Anyone got the Navy MP5-N or high end Aug?

Siding with mp5 seems the best to go for with a trade off of a little high end damage for better mag and great rpm

Well I've finally completed the main missions, been taking my time, doing most of the side missions. I'm level 28.5 so I'm going to rinse through the last of the BoO unlocks (only a couple left).

Haven't even stuck my nose in the DZ yet. I have just dismantled everything so far so have a good stash of crafting materials for when I hit 30. I'll have to start hitting up some people for parties to get into the end-game content soon.

Enjoyed playing through so far. The story and dialogue is typical Tom Clancy snorefest and I just skipped it, but the main missions were nicely varied and some good set pieces.

The last mission though...
I was playing with one random and we got to the helicopter....activated all the turrets and then spent *ages* running around trying to find where the last ones were to finish it off...including a couple of wipes. Could have made it a bit more obvious that you can damage it with weapons! Especially with the flashing red X you get when you hit it.

Yeah the last part of the final mission is a bit, er, odd.

It is kind of funny that the boss itself is virtually no threat (unless you stand still in the open) whereas the shot gunners can down you in two hits (one if you are running a glass cannon setup).

I am only slightly ahead of you gear wise (fresh-ish level 30, DZ level 11 (was 12 but stepped foot into DZ06...)) so happy to team up for end game stuff.

Yeah, that last boss fight was silly, I couldn't even figure out where the turret controls were so just wasted him with my gun and hid by the ammo resupply crate and cheesed him from cover.

I'm pretty much the same, level 30 with no HE gear, just a decent AUG/ACR and the pistol you get for killing helicopter guy, and DZ level 16.

Need to start partying up now to get them PxC.

I found the turret controls completely by chance. Killed him with normal weapons anyway.

You on PS4 or Xbone? If the former feel free to add me (well feel free to add me on either but I don't play the Division on the Xbone so.... :p).

:)

Blitz through some HM Dailies and then give the challenging mission a go / DZ.

They could have made the final boss much more interesting. I also thought shooting it would be pointless so spent ages running around trying to find the final turret which kind of took me out of the moment.

They could have had a box with a rocket launcher in somewhere, end with a sniper shot, him leave the chopper and you chase him across roof tops etc. I don't know, just something with a bit of imagination.
