It's different because those things do not sit as equals, people are used to the £300 region for a console.

Logically speaking you're right, but the way people feel about money and value often is not logical.

the ps4/xboxone will also serve as a media player blu ray basically so its not just a console

Found it pretty underwhelming personally. Nice to see them show games games games though.

I'm not sure it is, they haven't mentioned it once.

Resolution wasnt mentioned once, only had fps mentioned for Halo. We know Forzas from the launch event...

There is no way the PS4 will be £300. It'll be around £400 which is pretty much the same as the Xbox One. £30 isn't exactly a huge difference.

I don't understand why people thought it'd be around £300?

I got the 360 premium plus a game for £330. Now i have to spend £429 because i am forced to pay more than what it should cost plus the kinect thrown in that i don't want. This is stupid and it's about time we all stopped rolling over.

Have you been watching the same stream as the rest of us? Nothing new?

Indeed, Dead Rising 3 looked brilliant. So much on screen, running over terrain with no loading, and the area was VAST. All that while running graphics closer to the likes of Resident evil 5, Yes a 360 game, but the scope is what makes it impressive.


Then Forza with its AI processed by the cloud. I wonder if the cloud will work in a similar way to what having a Phsy-X card does. Improves while its available, and then goes flat\stale while there's no cloud available(Still runs fine!! Just not as impressive)


Ryse looked gorgeous, and God of war style fighting during massive epic battle scenes?? Another definite buy.

And then WITCHER 3!!! Now open world, looking fantastic.

I honestly think some people won't be happy... EVER. They're set in their ways, oh. DO NOT WANT.
