Now, I'm a PC gamer right, and I don't mind the consoles. I'll troll people occasionally but otherwise it's whatever, but when people in shows like E3 tell barefaced lies like that Turn 10 guy did, stating Forza 5 is beyond what the PC can 'handle'... Eurgh. Project CARS wants a word, among many others.

Is it just me that really does wish you could skip these other conferencesI just go straight to Sony's ?
I want to see more from Watch Dog, and hopeful Mirror's Edge 2 from EA. Last year Ubi's was excellent. The games were great and the presenter was so bad he was hilarious.
Its that age old thing, if you keep saying it enough, people might believe it.
Everyone should know PC's are the vastly superior machine for games visually, it just doesn't offer the convenience consoles do.

Not directly in line with inflation, no, but inflation was out of control and I wouldn't expect that they would.
The point was more that just because salaries haven't increased with inflation doesn't mean that the product in question is expensive in today's terms when looking back at a previous product (in this case One vs 360).
Very simple to do but if you calculate the 360s value in real terms add on the cost of the Kinect (approx) and factor in the difference in exchange rates between now and then (say just a very arbritary 1:2 -> 1:1.5), it gives you a good idea of the what you're dealing with. What you'll find is that the cost of the console is what I would consider to be fair... not saying it's worth it because that's different but it's a fair price when you look at it objectively.
Of course the above doesn't take into account any reduction of production costs involved between One and 360 but it's more an estimation to form an opinion rather than an exact science.
Thing is we shouldnt be havig to cough up for kinnect which most of us dont want. Rather pay £350 without kinnect.
Is it me or was Forza 5 in-game just look nowhere near the stuff weve seen before with the in-engine trailers? Hmmm hope it was just the stream...

Yea was going to say the same, looks no where near as good in games than what we have been shown up to now in the trailers.
Theres expectation from the bloke who did the launch show that Kinect will be used by gamers as the primary way to communicate with the console, so no headset in the box it seems.

at the reveal show they said that headset isn't needed kinect will do that task.
so if any one wants a headset they will have to buy a licensed product separate

Don't wanna start a vs flame war or anything but the consoles don't offer better convenience at all, a PC can be setup in the exact same way that a console can, even down to what it boots up into.
