*** The Official E3 2015 Thread ***

Just looking back at the 1st page everyone saying how crap e3 has been for years and there not even bothered about this year's .... I think a few of those people may have changed there minds in the last couple of days :D
 
E3 is always good fun and interesting, but should not be taken too seriously. It is about advertising what is to come from developers.

There are always highs and lows; this year - Highs would be the start and end of the Sony event, parts of the Microsoft event and most of the Bethesda event. Bad points would be Ubisoft and EA.
 
Can anyone summarize, or post a link to a summary of what's happened/been announced at this years E3?

I'm looking for get a XBox One/PS4 for the new Batman title and wondered what else was round the corner. Also, is there a price drop incoming?
 
Get Batman on PC! :p.

In before 'lol nothing coming out on PS4 ****' brigade.

Just look at the exclusives, multi-platforms will run better/prettier on PlayStation 4 and PC, compared to Xbox One, but you should never buy a console for those games, buy them for exclusive titles that interest you.
 
1) unsure why you're grouping PC and PS4 together when they're nothing alike.

2) as you're no doubt aware, the difference is so minimal across multiplatform games, you must look at exclusives.

3) Xbox have far more AAA exclusives out this year. You'd be a dummy to not consider an X1.

Do you really need to start? it's an E3 thread so cut the crap. Nobody can be bothered listening to it :rolleyes:
 
Well the Nintendo conference was just rubbish imo, absolutely nothing of interest.. Star Fox, seriously it felt like I was watching an E3 from 1990. Metroid would normally be of interest but that did the franchise no favours. I used to look forward to Nintendo innovation but they've but stuck in the past for way to long now :(
 
I feel so sorry for metroid fans. First they have to put up with "other M" and now they have to endure "federation force". The whole atmosphere of the game is supposed to be dark, eery, serious and have a strong female protagonist. The two most recent games don't appear to share any of those features.

They've been going on about mario maker for what feels like forever now. Yeah its all well and good but does anyone really care that much about it? Not really. A HD remake of mario galaxy would have likely been better received by most.

Whats most frustrating is that the presentation gives the impression their wii u development teams have mostly been shifted to nx, making people who own a wii u right now feel royally shafted.
 
The new Nier game on the Square Enix conference should be good with Platinum games, a PS4 exclusive.
