*** The Official E3 2015 Thread ***

The new Nier game on the Square Enix conference should be good with Platinum games, a PS4 exclusive.
Well its platinums wheelhouse so let's see what they do with it - complete reboot from the way they discussed it.

I was somewhat distracted

I must have missed the exclusive part. Timed?

Regardless, Sony appear to be getting cosy with a few devs.

He just said would be coming to/developed for the PS4 platform and the slide with the name just had the PS4 under it. I assume with {Platinum behind it there's going to be some action :)

The PC version port of FF7 is still a thing - just mainly for iOS - probably always was...

Can they really release that on PS4 intact but modify the remake to suit the modern gameplay - seems to be a worry out of not knowing anything...

£130?! Sweet mother.

I expect they haven't got a price yet and may well come down. I'd consider going up to 60-70 tops, but £130!!?
Its $150 RRP - £130 is accurate (well you know UK 'conversion' companies do :p). Its a reasonable price considering competing products...

Would I buy one? **** no, but I doubt its aimed at people like me that dont really play/enjoy FPSes...

I was thinking 150, compared again the toe competition that offers nothing as good as this..its very cheap/.

We wondered if it would give players using it an unfair advantage and the answer is..... yes it will. Those 5 people who buy it will have a slight advantage over us mere mortals.

That isn't how cheap works. Cheap means it's inexpensive. A £130 controller isn't inexpensive.

No it isn't...it under cuts anyone else making this type of controller.

But then again..i guess MS are holding guns to people saying they HAVE to buy it again,.

That SquareEnix conference was a bit... meh. Not one mention of Final Fantasy XV? Or even FFXIV Heavensward? Not even a recognition of the FFVII Remake? (or did I miss it?)

Even at the end when he said "Just one more thing..." he announces not a game, but another in house studio.

SE are such a strange company.

I thought they did good - and yeah 2 of those 3 things you mentioned were there :p

How is investing into a new studio not noteworthy considering how things are going over in Japan?!?
