Shouldn't be an issue at all, I was running it on a 560ti quite happily with a 2500k and 8gb at maximum settings.

put class c thrusters, D sensors, D life support should just fit then with gimballed pulse lasers

Or

priority 1: thrusters, life support,
Priority 2: Shield gen, shield booster, shield cell
Priority 3: guns
Priority 4: fuel scoop, cargo scoop, FSD

I don't but for my brother who doesn't have head tracking we set the mouse pointer to act as buttons so to access the info panels, works a treat :)

Get an Asp while you're waiting. It's like a bigger slower cobra, but with a stronger hull and better hardpoints for combat, plus very good jump range. I love mine and the sound it makes is excellent. Buy back is immense though and is currently at 560k credits before I have even put the A rated stuff on it. It's also really good for trading with over 100T max cargo.

Where I have ended up (will check in a bit what is called) has been great. I have made well over 1 million since last night.

However it is just nuts, so many security ships really enjoy helping them out. . :)

My Imperial clipper's bagged me 100 to 200K and each Anaconda 100k

Thanks but the thing is my Cobra has 56t cargo on rares I can get 1m cr each way per hour so around 2m cr per hour is it really worth me moving onto an Asp as I am only trading on Solo right now?
Update I decided to go with the Type 6 for some reason the Asp I could only outfit with 92t & my Type 6 is currently 106t & over 5m cr cheaper!

Still going to be an epic grind to get the 70m cr I want though!!

The ASP also has a 32T fuel store, so you won't need to refuel between each set of stations.
When you add the boost speed, jump range and the weapon capability - the ASP really is better ship over the T6 for trading, especially rare runs.
 
Mmmm

anybody else have an issue with a black screen when in Hyperspace?

It has just started this evening. when I jump it is fine for a few seconds and then goes black, game continues though. The elite.exe is crashing and a crash report box appears....

Literately started this evening.

Agreed, especially since you can stop and pick up bounties along the way to keep you from going nuts with boredom.
